Basically, we collaborate to make a song. For example, I'd set down a rhythm track, send it to you, then we could both do solos to put over the top.

guys - im partway through watching the remake of the film 'The Italian Job' - and ive been listening to the backing music alot - and its mainly a bass player over a drum machine - some very cool riffs and things
any of you heard it/can remember it/got thoughts on it?

I would, but I'm really not any good at soloing. I've been playing about a year, and can play some alright stuff, but I'm not the greatest at coming up with my own material.

it may actually be a drummer but the beats are simple - it might as well be a drum machine - and the bass is just laying down the grooves over it

Might pop out to a few music shops later, though there's only two easily accessible in town, and one doesn't actually specialise in guitars, and is more expensive, and I don't know the guys there, and they may have shut down by now :confused: But its bigger. Basically, I think I'll pop down to one music shop. No point in me trying basses out, I'll just tempt myself. Just need to see if they have a Morley Dual Bass Wah in!
