I never play my 4 string anymore, however, I do want a fretless. To defret or not to defret?
The thing is, I still want a fretted 4 just in case of anything... hmm.....

id say do it. i did and now its my main bass, weird change??? yes but i love fretless and maybe you will as well. now i also wish that i still had a fretted four, but i don't. ill just have to buy one sometime. personally i would rather have the fretless.
