Going to Mexico in about 12 hours! Well plane leave in about 12 hours but I have to be at the airport in like 9 hours!

Gota go though everyone talk to you next week!

_Wrathchild_ 12-29-2006 10:49 PM

Have fun.

I was just reminiscing about Mexico the other day and thinking about how I'd like to go back sometime. I was only like 10 when I went so I wasn't old enough to have the whole experience.

Airports are no fun though. Especially when they search through your bag and pull out all your feminine products for everyone to see like the last time I went on a trip.
But I guess that won't happen to you.

wesm9787 12-29-2006 10:50 PM

nooo... they closed the this or that thread... that was actually fun... dammit...

anyway thanks... but i still like scorpion... he's my favorite character from the game... actually the only reason he was in it though was because he has that "get over here thing"... i just wanted to see the little bouncey guy get speared through the head... took me like 2 weeks to do the whole thing

edit: hey i have 175 posts... yay

CaptainWaits 12-29-2006 10:58 PM

Anyone here play Sabian Vault cymbals??

So far I've bought a a 16" and 17" crash, and I'm looking to get a 20" ride, 18" crash, and hats....all of which will be vaults.

MeaninglessPhoto 12-29-2006 11:01 PM

Does anybody know anything about Vader cymbals?

Music Go Round is selling a 20" China for 30 bucks and im interested but im not sure of the quality.

wesm9787 12-29-2006 11:04 PM

i've never even heard of Vader cymbals... so my guess is they're crap... and musiciansfriend is selling 16" wuhan chinas for 40 bucks and 18" chinas for 50 i think... and it's the same at guitar center i'm pretty sure since musiciansfriend is just gc's online warehouse... so my advice is just pay the extra 10 or 20 bucks and get a wuhan... because they are awesome

Undisco Kidd 12-30-2006 12:25 AM

Hells yes. 35 dollars from babysitting tonight, and doing it on New Years Eve.

5 dollars an hour to watch movies on my iPod. :D

Druumer89 12-30-2006 12:27 AM

Screw baby setting.

I hate children.

Undisco Kidd 12-30-2006 12:28 AM
Screw baby setting.

I like kids.

But these kids are creepy. They're in 3rd and 6th grade, and have the mental capacity of kindergarteners. They freak me out.

Good money though, seeing as I had nothing else to do tonight.

Druumer89 12-30-2006 12:29 AM

yeah i dont know, chidren just really bother me, along with old people.

Loyton 12-30-2006 12:43 AM

Well it's not really a level below orion, its just a different sound/shell construction. And its called the saturn series :) They are treating me VERY well. Hows your... um... pro-m was it?

Undisco Kidd 12-30-2006 12:51 AM
yeah i dont know, chidren just really bother me, along with old people.
That's dumb.

You were a kid.

And you'll be old.

People are people.

Druumer89 12-30-2006 01:00 AM

I was never a child.

I work fast food man, these two groups of people really get to you there.

TheBigMachine 12-30-2006 01:56 AM

Old people because they have to ask about every single thing on the menu, and young-un's because they never decide.

Josiah 12-30-2006 03:24 AM

hello all!

carlh2003 12-30-2006 03:28 AM

Hi Josiah

Josiah 12-30-2006 03:28 AM

how are you? how long you been playing?

carlh2003 12-30-2006 03:33 AM

I'm good thanks!
Been playing for about 2.5 years... only in the last year or so have I realised my passion for drumming ;)

Josiah 12-30-2006 03:36 AM

awesome! great to hear it!

Did you find the discovering of your passion came from seeing improvement in your playing, or just kind of a gradual growth thing?

carlh2003 12-30-2006 03:41 AM

A bit of both really!
Visiting these forums has really helped expand my knowledge... and some of the members are so crazy :p
I love the way everyone has such a different and distinctive personality...
