Seems like a generalization to me.

I've never met any kids directly from France or Germany, so I can't vouche for that.
Stereotypes are bad kids :thumb:
While I agree with you, slight correction:

A stereotype is labeling one person because they are part of a specific group.

i.e., "That kid's a guitarist. He must be a showoff."

A generalization is basing on group based on a few members.

"That guitarist is a showoff. All guitarists must be showoffs."

We currently have a bunch of German exchange students at my school. All girls. Most of them are really weird and ugly, one of them looks about 35 (when shes 16) and one of them is reeeally hot...

But they are quite cool.

^ I <3 TBS. They're my favorite band of all time.

I don't think they're the BEST of all time, but their first CD is exactly the type of band I want.

There is still lots of time for you to save money for college.
Plus, if you want, you could take a year off to work/do whatever you want.

Yeah, as soon as they came out I was like "LYK OMFG <3333!!!!"

They're what got me into emo.

OK, no that's not true. I think Dashboard first got me into it, and from him, I got into emo, indie, screamo, hardcore, and grindcore (in that order).

I listen to emo, indie, and screamo about 70% of the time, hardcore 20%, and grindcore and other random genres about 10%.
