Wasn't DSOTM on the Billboard charts for something like 14 years until it was forcibly taken down?
Yeah, or something ridiculous like that :thumb:

Just no...
sorry music doesnt get better with age for me , i think pink floyd gets alot of credit for being around for so long and having all the older poeple talk about them , like being in a car with a guy wearing a DSOTM shirt and not being able to recognize it.

Pink Floyd's music is just beautiful on every level IMO. Simply amazing. perhaps they're one of them bands you either relate to or you don't...

rybass 01-31-2005 05:08 PM

Ok...I'm going to try to record the beginning of Chromatic Fantasy.

It'll probably take me 100 takes until I'm satisfied with it though so it'll be awhile.

BassVirtuoso 01-31-2005 05:09 PM

IMO: What a lame attempt at being the legend known as Bob Dylan.

Lay_Down_The_Groove 01-31-2005 05:09 PM

agrees with ry
IMO: What a lame attempt at being the legend known as Bob Dylan.
who?

FlamingCouch 01-31-2005 05:16 PM

Whoa, I'm playing guitar and bass between posts and I set down my Peavey acoustic (<3) to pick up my old Jazz copy (<3<3). So I start playing, and I'm playing my own stuff (writing lots of high mellow stuff lately) and then I start slapping my mellow, popping, and before you know if I'm jamming out some Rush. I end, going to pick up my GSR, and pluck my E as I tend to as a final note just for fun, and I got the insanest deep twang and growl... good thing I'm giving my Mach 2 a rest eh?

And that's the end of my bass story.

neal_672 01-31-2005 05:18 PM

Fernandes Power 01-31-2005 05:19 PM

I would also like my fudgesicle...

FlamingCouch 01-31-2005 05:20 PM

HAH! Finally someone asks about the Fudgesicle, first time since I put up the title... 8 months ago?

Depending on your place of residance it may vary from a day to a million years. (Just a heads up: It may be melted by then.) :p

Actually, the fudgesicle thing was some friends of mine were playing a concert one time, and their singer yelled "FUDGESICLES FOR ALL!!!" at the end.
/another story

BassVirtuoso 01-31-2005 05:28 PM

I'm going to pretend you didn't just ask who Bob Dylan was and politely back away from the thread.
