I wear thick frames because they look stylin and I have dark features.
I have them to hide my ridiculously thick lenses.
this too

my eyes are terrible i had wire frames for my last pair and the lenses were like three times as thick as the frames

witchxrapist 05-20-2011 04:19 AM

Weird thing is, I've never broken wire frames, but I broke my last two pairs of plastic frames.

One pair fell off when I was moshing, and I grabbed them out of the air and snapped them in half with my super human grip.

Other pair my friend was half asleep and didn't realize I wasn't in his car and started driving away, and I ran after him knocking on the window, and then when he stopped my glasses flew off and then he backed over them.

So yeah freak accidents but yeah.

Iscariot 05-20-2011 04:26 AM

wire frames are durable as hell they just get grimy and tarnished and shit really easy

the wire frames i had lasted me years but i've broken a few pairs of plastic frames because i would get into a fight with someone and not think to take them off and the first shot i took to the face they'd break right down the middle of the bridge

i lost two pairs to the exact same break

i've also got a permanent dent in the bridge of my nose from having them break like that

2muchket! 05-20-2011 04:31 AM

Mappy: Dillinger, more than life, defeater, ceremony, trash talk, la dispute, touche amore, the carrier and title fight all at the same festival.

How jelly are u.

witchxrapist 05-20-2011 04:40 AM

That's an elite line-up.

@Jared: yeah, both previous pairs I had broke on the bridge. The second pair fell off when I was moshing and I completely crushed them, like the right lens came out and the frame was all but, but that part was actually mad malleable and I just put the lens back in, but the bridges on these shits be too rigid.
