See, those are my thoughts exactly, but I worry that if it came down to a poll, people would vote for Burton over Harris due to Metallica fanboyism.

Maybe I'll have to put Burton and Newsted in the same poll to divide the fanboys :evil:.

that would be a good start...and put Harris in with loads of bassists no-one's ever heard of :lol:

Newsted is also a good singer, he used to sing some whole songs live for 'Tallica...but lets not make this the Metallica thread II :lol: Steve Harris p'wns all other bassists, not just for his playing but also for his songwriting.

I love Seek and destroy with newsted, thats 'kin awsome... otherwise the song tend to bore me...

I haven't heard it with Newsted playing...thanks for SOTC, downloading now. anyway, i'm off, so bye all :wave:

I dont think hallowed would be the best maiden song of all time. Its defenatly up there at number 2 but i think that Blood brothers is just an amazing song. Well either that or fear of the dark.
