Chadstone is HUGE. Cool place.

good rats 04-06-2005 07:11 AM

Our Jazz band almost played there but a coffee shop complained about how loud the saxaphone group was and they said we couldn't play. BUt 6hours of shopping isn't bad

good rats 04-06-2005 07:15 AM

No way, MSN is just, cute.

Hehe thanks.

It's the "Refused Are Fucking Dead" instrumental remix from The E.P Comp CD or This Album Contains Old Songs And Old Pictures.

I'm not sure where exactly it's been used.

good rats 04-06-2005 07:23 AM

I think it's off a DVD. Forgot which one. But that is rad none the less. How long did it take ot put together?

fatbandit 04-06-2005 07:25 AM

Well, all I really did was put the song in Cool Edit Pro, and download the movie quotes as .wav files.

Then I multitracked them over it, just dragged and dropped them around really.

Despite the relative lack of effort, it still took me an hour or more.

fatbandit 04-06-2005 07:32 AM

Sounds pretty cool though!

good rats 04-06-2005 07:34 AM

I'm off. Cya.

blizzard 04-06-2005 07:36 AM

supercalifragilistic 04-06-2005 07:46 AM

anybody there???

or has everyone gone to sleep?

fatbandit 04-06-2005 07:46 AM

Gah, leave me why don't you.

So I'm back on my GAS again. What should I get?

Flatwounds (just to try them out)
Wireless Unit
Wah Pedal

supercalifragilistic 04-06-2005 07:54 AM

I would say the wah pedal.

I love wah pedals.

I just got a Digitech Bass Overdrive - Distortion pedal, but I have to wait 'till the weekend (when I go home, where my amp is) to actually use it ...

fatbandit 04-06-2005 07:56 AM

Well, I'd probably say Wah too... But I need to find a good one. What's the Wah that Supernaut uses? And how much will that set me back?

supercalifragilistic 04-06-2005 07:59 AM

I have absolutely no idea what supernaut uses. And for a price, well, where do you live?

popinfresh 04-06-2005 08:01 AM
And when you get them Popinfresh, get photos of you modelling them.
Will do, naked :naughty:

supercalifragilistic 04-06-2005 08:02 AM
Will do, naked :naughty:
finally :naughty:

:chug:

Rollo47 04-06-2005 08:04 AM

How are we all?

Get the wah pedal, definitely.

Much fun, very funky.

On a completely different note, check out the angst filled teen i spotted in Links 2003.

(sorry about the large picture)

fatbandit 04-06-2005 08:05 AM

Dude, if its for good rats, youd better be wearing high heels too!

And as for the Wah Pedal, I live in England. Does that have a huge bearing on it?

popinfresh 04-06-2005 08:05 AM

Fatbandit. Wireless's are useless. Get flats or try a bass with them on it.

I'm gas'in and getting a Mesa 400+ soon. Or a Sunn 300T.

Wish i'd got that Trace Elliot V8 though... oh it's going to haunt me..

popinfresh 04-06-2005 08:06 AM

Rollo, golf is for sissies, especially golf games :p

j/k ;)

Rollo47 04-06-2005 08:07 AM

Ah, I bet they modelled that angst filled teen around you, Popin.

supercalifragilistic 04-06-2005 08:10 AM

well prices vary a lot! In US everythings much cheaper than in Europe, and the UK is somewhere in between.

fatbandit 04-06-2005 08:12 AM

Wireless's may be useless but they have serious cool factor, and if I have nothing else to spend on...? However, I think I'm gonna go Wah.

Rollo47 04-06-2005 08:14 AM

Awesome, which wah are you looking at?

fatbandit 04-06-2005 08:19 AM

The one supernait has, but I don't know which it is >.<

Rollo47 04-06-2005 08:25 AM

Heh. Probably Dunlop Crybaby, or Morley Dual Bass Wah.

fatbandit 04-06-2005 08:27 AM

I'm not sure? I just want one that is real quality, and I know he has a quality pedal!

fatbandit 04-06-2005 09:14 AM

I just checked his site. He does use a Morley Double Bass Wah.

Spaceman Spiff 04-06-2005 09:22 AM

Ba dum dum dum dum .

fatbandit 04-06-2005 09:36 AM

Well this is thrilling...

fatbandit 04-06-2005 09:37 AM

What's the shipping cost likely to be on a 3.3 lbs pedal from the US?

morpcat 04-06-2005 09:38 AM

Really really depends on who ships it. Get a rough zip code and you can use a FedEx or UPS calculator.

Spaceman Spiff 04-06-2005 09:41 AM

"You know they call corn-on-the-cob 'corn-on-the-cob' right? But that's how it comes outta the ground, man. They should call that 'corn.' They should call every other version 'corn-off-the-cob.' It's not like if you cut off my arm, you would call my arm 'Mitch,' but then reattach it and call it 'Mitch-all-together.'" - Mitch Hedberg (RIP)
Really really depends on who ships it. Get a rough zip code and you can use a FedEx or UPS calculator.
i recently researched how much postage would be for a bass and i checked those two companies and Postal force (bear in mind this is from the uk not the states) and to anywhere in the world ParcelForce was easily cheaper - UPS was the most expensive - but the slowest they would do it was end of the next working day
UPS is really for businesses - i dont mind waiting a bit longer for PArcelForce48 if it saves me close to £10

fatbandit 04-06-2005 09:47 AM

And is £50 a god value for a Morley Dual Bass Wah (sans shipping)?
