I got accepted to Webster University in St. Louis =D =D =D

Oh, and I'm back from Whistler, Vancouver, Cananananada, which was pretty chill.

But more importantly.

I GOT ACCEPTED TO THE ONLY COLLEGE I ACTUALLY BOTHERED TO APPLY TO.

Otherwise I would've had to hurry up and run around getting letters and writing essays and requesting transcripts for other, crappier colleges that have deadlines in 2 and 3 weeks.

But that didn't happen.

Yay~

So how goes it, 'Hold?

Did I miss anything in the past...9 days?

Me and Josiah are starting a band called "How to be famous on the internetz!" We are only gonna play insanely technical remakes of phil collins tunes. It should be pretty sweet.

Haha right on.. i like the lil blue star things...

sadly though, that particular model ride has been the worst ride I've ever played on in my life. twice actually, seperate cymbals.

*shrug* luck of the draw, i'm sure you picked out a great one moog

that wall to the right in the background looks amazing though!

yeah, actually I've seen several of this stye there over the years. They were all pretty bad, but this one in particular had something about it.
Since you know as well as anyone that each cymbal has its own characteristics... this one was definitely different. All the guys in the shop even recognized it, they said they usually hated those cymbals, but that one was an exception.

btw, my whole wall is got this "blood splattered slaughter house" look to it.

Josiah 12-29-2006 07:27 AM

oh very cool! I'm glad you got a good one! (and to hear i'm not alone in my expereince)

slaughter house.... i can jsut see you swingin away there.. in the slaughter house haha funny stuff

reminds me of Diablo swing orchestra

I just went down to the bank. It's very wet and windy outside. My *** is now wet and muddy, but mud flaps for bikes = gayness.

Josiah 12-29-2006 08:07 AM

not if it's a beach cruiser!

Josiah 12-29-2006 08:12 AM

haha ya, what would be the point of havin it then... ?

maniac0796 12-29-2006 08:13 AM

Bikes don't work on beaches. I discovered that a couple of times this summer. You have to have some huge *** tyres, and then getting there is a bitch because of the resistance. I ride an XC bike, and the standard is 2.1" thickness. Trial Bikes are about 2.5, and even they can't handle beaches.
wet Sand is okay to a point, then it just gets messy, but stones, you just can't do it, same with dry sand. you just do huge wheel spins.. you slew like hell on wet sand if you get any speed. It's just compacted mud....

Josiah 12-29-2006 08:17 AM

ahh haha no no

Beach Cruiser is a style of bike, maybe ony here in the US. Gets the name from cruising up and down the beach boardwalks, etc...
