Hey, guns of brixton, who did you ask me if I knew that goes to LZHS?

Sam 11-21-2005 07:31 PM

Hey, I'm unbanned. Cool.
Hey, guns of brixton, who did you ask me if I knew that goes to LZHS?
A sophomore girl named Ange.

Ghostfire3 11-21-2005 08:18 PM
A sophomore girl named Ange.
Is that her first or last name? If it's her first name, then what's her last name?

guns_of_brixton 11-21-2005 08:21 PM

uhhh... her last name is like Vanderpluym or something like that, I don't really have no clue how to spell it. And her first name is the same as "Angie", there's just no
"i".

Anxious 11-21-2005 08:23 PM

Algebra II sucks, I gave up so I'm here posting, wasting time.

Forest_Fire 11-21-2005 08:24 PM

What year are you Dom? Sophomore?

I thought college algebra was pretty easy. I managed an A.

Anxious 11-21-2005 08:24 PM

Junior.

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 11-21-2005 08:25 PM
Algebra II sucks, I gave up so I'm here posting, wasting time.
I have a test in that class tommorow. I think I'm pretty set.

The only thing I'm not 100% sure on is graphing functions because I always change it into the proper y= equation but I always get weird numbers.

Oh, I'm a sophmore.

/proud

Forest_Fire 11-21-2005 08:25 PM

Oh. Lucky. I take Pre-cal junior year.

Anxious 11-21-2005 08:26 PM

Hah, graphing functions is easy compared to whats up next.
Oh. Lucky. I take Pre-cal junior year
If I'm lucky I'll never take Pre-Cal.

Brain Toad 11-21-2005 08:26 PM

I think Math 120 = Alg II, but I'm not sure. It may be Math 135. Either way, I'm not looking forward to it. I did horrible when I took it in 11th grade.

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 11-21-2005 08:27 PM
Oh. Lucky. I take Pre-cal junior year.
That's what I've got too. I'm not looking forward to it.

My sisters a genius, she took calculus BC her junior year.

Forest_Fire 11-21-2005 08:29 PM

It's weird though; this year I'm in a freshman class while I'm a sophmore, but next year I'll be in a senior class while I'm a junior.

There goes my childhood.

Brain Toad 11-21-2005 08:31 PM

I'm only taking as much math as my college requires to get my AA, the same with the hard sciences. Both subjects are incredibly boring to me now.

Critical thinking > spitting back facts

Anxious 11-21-2005 08:32 PM

Whats an AA?

sophmores in algebra II punX unite!!

obese_breasts 11-21-2005 08:33 PM

I love math and sciences, except biology. Biology sucks.

I'm a Junior and will be taking Pre-Calc next semester, just to join in the conversation.

Brain Toad 11-21-2005 08:33 PM
Whats an AA?
Associate of Arts degree. It's a two year college degree.

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 11-21-2005 08:33 PM
sophmores in algebra II punX unite!!
And what do you think of the class?
I love math and sciences, except biology. Biology sucks.
I disliked biology because we were learning things on one could possibly care about. How cells work. Dull beyond belief.

Chemistry seems more exciting so far but not too much.

Forest_Fire 11-21-2005 08:34 PM

Chemistry is horrible. I have failed every test in there, but I still have a C because I do a bunch of extra credit things like bringing in kleenex boxes and such.

Brain Toad 11-21-2005 08:35 PM
I love math and sciences, except biology. Biology sucks.
I liked science up until the end of my senior year, I had an awesome Bio and Chem teachers in high school. But after that my interest just pulmetted and I really enjoy the social sciences now.

Some of the hard sciences still interest me somewhat, but the actual classes, not so much.

Anxious 11-21-2005 08:35 PM

My school is gay, I have to get a "B" in Al II to go to Pre Cal.

obese_breasts 11-21-2005 08:35 PM

I loved Chem. I got 99's on the final and midterm for that class.

Anxious 11-21-2005 08:36 PM

I like Chemistry, its really intresting, abstract, but intresting. I have an A.

Ghostfire3 11-21-2005 08:36 PM

I'm decent at math. I'm in Alg. II. I got an A+ on the last test I took.

*feels special*

Anxious 11-21-2005 08:37 PM
Associate of Arts degree. It's a two year college degree.
Is that what you need to transfer into a University with?

DaveToopes 11-21-2005 08:38 PM

I'm in geometry. I'm only a freshman though.

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 11-21-2005 08:38 PM

I've got an A in my chem class. It seems really simple, just some random memorization. The best thing is labs, but we're doing double replacement reactions and it's gotten terribly old watching precipitates form then filtering them out.
I'm in geometry. I'm only a freshman though.
I was in geometrey my freshman year, it was the most exciting class because I had my best friend of all time and the teacher was really lax so we fucked around so much.

Brain Toad 11-21-2005 08:39 PM
sophmores in algebra II punX unite!!
I could've been a sophmore in Alg II, since I took Alg I in 8th grade. But I didn't pass all my competency tests (I didn't know this until after I was in high school) so they put me in Alg I Freshman year instead of Geometry. I'm glad I retook Alg I though, because it helped it make more sense.
I loved Chem. I got 99's on the final and midterm for that class.
I didn't get awesome test scores, but I got high enough. But I felt I was really understanding the stuff. It was my favourite class of the day because it was the last, it wasn't boring, the teacher was awesome (a Lebonese immigrant always going through culture shock and extreamly intelligent) and all my friends were in that class. That's the one class I miss from high school, and my Government/Econ class.
