I'm MUCH more emo, indie, and screamo myself (Taking Back Sunday, Silverstein, Dashboard, Remember Maine, Alexisonfire, Bayside, Cap'n Jazz, Rufio, Fear Before the March of Flames, etc.).

I checked out that Whole Wheat Bread (is that what they're called?) and they weren't for me.

i like a bunch of things, but yeah me and gav know our hardcore stuff. but posthardcore > hardcore, or atleast from what ive heard from the posthardcore genre on purevolume.

One time I saw DEP live and they were just insane and put on a great show.

im not really into the whole hardcore/screamo scene.

Emo is fine. In fact half the songs i write are all emotional and end up sounding like emo stuff. Some of dashboard is good, and TBS isnt that bad.

ive gotten really into ska. its aweomse. but then again i love alot of genres, from the strokes to muse.

Yeah, they are really good and get pretty technical with their music at times.



Though I was somewhat into some screamo type stuff when I was younger, my musical taste changed and I stopped listening to the stuff.

I never was able to get into the regular emo stuff though.

I wouldn't say that they're bad or anything, I just don't listen to them anymore.
