ASP is one of the best deathcore bands IMO.

Haha yeah, I think so too. Even if [I]Awaken The Dreamers[/I] was slightly disappointing. Well, they're definitely my favourite deathcore band!

AtD is my favorite of theirs oddly enough.

I just didn't really enjoy the vocals as much as in TPoE and I thought they went a bit over the top with the whole guitar wankery on it, but it's definitely still enjoyable! It was just a bit of a disappointment after the awesomeness that was TPoE.

Glad to see I'm not alone there. ASP is def also my favorite deathcore band. Though AtD falls short of tPoE for me, I still love it so much.

I haven't listened to tPoE recently, I'll have to do that

it is one of those albums for me that i dont listen to often but when i do it always is an intense listen

Thats still an awesome show, show up after suffokate, CFTG is good but not that good to sit through the Suffokate.

ASP are pretty awesome live.

As The Sun Sets it just all around better than synt and I can't even believe you compared them.

the riffing style is very similar, and drew's really influenced by as the sun sets, and he's basically the songwriter. plus, i prefer their breakdowns, and vocals, otherwise i think as the sun sets is actually better at writing songs.
