Ah, see. That wasn't so bad.

I hope I can get 5 more dollars by the end of the day...

CemetaryGates9 05-24-2005 02:16 PM

Wait, that's Jom? I thought it was some random person new to the thread because of the avatar. Yes. Share the story.

Do it.

CemetaryGates9 05-24-2005 02:29 PM

Wow, I was just reading some old posts from my older accounts and I used to be an even wrose poster than I am now.

Cain 05-24-2005 02:39 PM

Papa Shank's ****ting on my thread about Michael Hedges' tunings in the Guitar forum and I have no idea why. If no one appreciates the information, fine, but is it spam? I don't get it. :(

Oh, I can't bare to think about it. There has definetly been an influx of n00bs in the past few months.

Illmatic 05-24-2005 02:45 PM

What story?

Either way, go ahead and share it.

I am formally invited to three HS graduation parties this weekend (one from The Friend, two from friends from my old high school). I feel pretty and popular.

But, my mind feels very clouded right now. Normally running helps clear it, normally shooting hoops helps clear it, but neither did it right now. I can't quite put my mind on it.
so, I finished english for this year :D just had my last exam... it was a REALLY easy question.

"In Dickens' 'Hard Times', how does he evoke humour and bitterness in his satirization of the class divide?"

How doss :D
It's not very often that R&M get's gimmick posters :-/

lunch998 05-24-2005 03:22 PM

I really wish our regulars wouldn't post in those threads. I would say something in there about how no one should post in it, but then I would get intelligent responses such as "no u" and "your a hypocrite".

The Average White Band I only know two tracks by, but wanted to discover them further so I went for the best of (2 discs).
The Manowar anthology was pretty cheap, which was why I got it.

YDload 05-24-2005 04:09 PM

From now on, anyone who posts in my top 100 bassist polls asking where their favorite bassist is gets disqualified. I might be more lenient on them if they just joined, but some people have no excuses!

TheDMV 05-24-2005 04:14 PM

:upset: ANybody see that Hendrix thread. I wanted to make a thread about him for a while and know it's too late. I could have made it so much better.

Attention: Anyone who voted in the Top 100 MXers competition, all the ballots submitted have been invalidated. You need to resubmit.

Makes sense, then. I mean, I don't like the, but I'll buy them if they're in a bargain bin and look vaguely interesting.

Awesome! :thumb: Glad to hear you enjoyed them. I finished my project, too, complete with illustrations. :)

I'll load them in an hour, after dinner, if you feel like sticking around RCA.

Jom 05-24-2005 05:55 PM

RMOTM elimination thread is up and running.

I messed up the first time (:o), so now everything should be in place. If you haven't voted, then please do so. If you have, perhaps check the new list if you have time. I was only missing four or five names, but even still, that's a mistake on my part.

By the way, I'm not going to answer that question :-\

Bartender 05-24-2005 05:57 PM

What question?

Jom 05-24-2005 06:01 PM

In regards to the following post:
Anyways, hello. I went and visited some of my high school teachers this morning, and that made for a good trip. They were all willing to talk for a bit, which was nice. I told some of my stories from uni and they told me about the school year there. Sixteen teachers are retiring at the end of the year, which is a lot, even for a large high school like mine was.

One of my teachers asked me, "If you could change one thing about high school, what would it be?"

I didn't have an answer.

As soon as I sat in the car on the way home, it came to me. So I drove home, wrote this teacher a letter, delivered it, and went home again. It seems a bit open-ended, and now that I think about it, I'm a bit concerned as to what this teacher will do with it. But no matter. I was satisfied with my answer, and if it comes back and bites me in the [butt], then so be it.
Some people have asked about what it is I wrote. I don't plan on answering that at the moment.

It's all good. I was one of the people with the "Dargon is a poser faggot" avatars for a little while. I still don't like Dargon though.

RCA 05-24-2005 06:50 PM

Dargon's really a cool dude in reality. He just hates false/bad/completely-suck metal/music and it's fans.

Taste_My_Scythe 05-24-2005 07:26 PM

Hello everyone again, and thanks for the welcomes (belated or not, doesn't matter. you guys rock)

played a little guitar today; Metallica's Fade to Black and Children of Bodom's Sixpounder. I also kinda messed around with some A7x stuff, don't ask me why.

I also watched my friends inhale some helium and sing Adam Sandler's Turkey Song. Funny stuff. :D

RCA 05-24-2005 07:43 PM

Ah, helium and the good times that come with it; pre-packaged with a ribbon and a picture of Spongebob Squarepants.

Cain 05-24-2005 08:07 PM

Sup guys. I just recieved my first rep points today. I am now at 83. :thumb:

EDIT: and 4k posts! Oh yeah!

They have more stuff in them (like my signature :p) but my printer-scanner didn't have enough width or length to fit the whole ones in. I compromised.
