BMD does have a black-ish like production.
The vague and distant sounding production fis the album though.
Check out Dance Of December Souls dor a Katatonia album that actually is black metal-ish with some doom influence. :)

Cool, cool. Yeah, BMD is sounding great, Åkerfeldt's vocal contributions are awesome(first time I've ever heard his voice actually:p).
