thickasabrick 09-28-2004 03:48 PM

Whatever 09-28-2004 03:50 PM

[QUOTE=guitrguy]Problem is they charge you up the butt. You got sift through crap to get to the good stuff, and its not locally owned so you can't get to know the owner.[/QUOTE]

that's true for FYE, but I got those CD's I said from an EB.

Off Topic:

Can you put a picture in a message?

gmoneyguy 09-28-2004 03:57 PM

Please no O.T. in here. This is a good tread, i would and all the other regulars would like to keep it that way.

Post it in the off topic thread.

MalcolmYoungRock 09-28-2004 04:41 PM

[QUOTE=Whatever]Off Topic:

Can you put a picture in a message?[/QUOTE]

Yeah you can, but only in the review section of the site.

themightyquinn23 09-28-2004 04:45 PM

Actually, that has nothing to do with it. You can post pictures on any of the forums.

MalcolmYoungRock 09-28-2004 04:47 PM

No you can't. MX only put the IMG tag on the review forums so people can post the covers of the ablums. In none of the other forums can you put the IMG tag around something. Trust me. I failed horribly. And was laughed at.

Edit: If you go under the Quick Reply box you'll se something that says..

[B]Posting Rules[/B]
You [B]may[/B] post new threads.
You [B]may[/b] blah blah blah.

Then under that.

BludgeonySteve 09-28-2004 04:51 PM

I want to read Bob Dylan's book. He's a very smart guy.

themightyquinn23 09-28-2004 04:56 PM

This thread is about as burned out as the Rolling Stones.

MalcolmYoungRock 09-28-2004 04:57 PM

[QUOTE=themightyquinn23]This thread is about as burned out as the Rolling Stones.[/QUOTE]

Get out of my thread.

Edit: And it must be still going strong if it's as burnt out like the rolling stones.

Woodstock 09-28-2004 04:57 PM

Who's your favorite acoustic guitarist?

Mine's Crosby or Stills. Although Clapton was great on Unplugged.

themightyquinn23 09-28-2004 04:59 PM

Well, all the discussion I've seen in this thread lately has been done about 1000 times before.

EDIT: to MYR

MalcolmYoungRock 09-28-2004 05:02 PM

That's because we've discussed the hell out of everything. But the point is, we have a strong classic rock community. and we should be able to talk about things repeativly.

Unless that 'tard not worthy of being called n00b, guitartd shows up.

Then everythings about Zeppelin  I don't like that.

Well, you cant help that from happening. People join everyday....sadly.

So don't keep complaining about this thread, try to make it better then.

themightyquinn23 09-28-2004 05:05 PM

I've just about had it with classic rock discussion.

Obviously this was, and we weren't even talking about music.

Kingofdudes 09-28-2004 05:13 PM

Gilmour is taking a vacation, but he will be back. Anyone know where I can find a copy of "Animals"? I've tried a few places and havent found it :upset:

Really you can't find it? That's odd.(we're talkin' CD's here right?)

Keep looking though. It has better lyrics than any other Floyd album.

Kingofdudes 09-28-2004 05:17 PM

Best Buy would probably have a copy, too bad the closest one is like 60 miles away.

I love the songs on it, especially Gilmour's work on Dogs.

BludgeonySteve 09-28-2004 05:22 PM

I got my copy of Animals at a used music store. I doubt musicworld or HMV something would have it :p

Best Buy is great, but I prefer Media Play(if you know what that is)

Dogs is one of the best, I think Pigs(Three different ones) is better.

MalcolmYoungRock 09-28-2004 05:26 PM

My god kids...

[url]www.amazon.com[/url]

Go there and buy your cds.

Kingofdudes 09-28-2004 05:28 PM

I've been thinking about using amazon, thats if my dad will let me use his credit card.

You're lazy to buy CD's off amazon, but I'm to lazy to click the link and double the price of the CD for S&H.
