Sup Everyone? Rockin out to the The Fall of Troy atm. Currently writing a review for a local release, so I've been pretty busy but I should critique quite a few pieces in the next few weeks seeing that I'm holidays.

Nothing much, I'll go see Kinky tomorrow either to a night club or the local acoustic shell, which should be interesting, I'm not sure.

I'm bored. Tired of watching films, can't be bothered to start a book, I'm out of cigarettes and its raining outside. stupid british weather.

I've done no writing in ages, then tried last night. Just ended up with second hand bukowski lines and it sucked so fu[size=2]c[/size]k it. I'll just wait for some inspiration to kick me in the face.

going to the theatre tonight, maybe get some inspiration.

I haven't written stuff in ages, either. I felt like writing a love song last night, but I just couldn't put it together. It's too fresh.

I realised that I don't produce anything good under pressure, or when I'm forcing myself. So working in a creative writing class next year might be worrying...

I requested to give S&L a twist into a more holistic Songwriting forum, that means add the whole compositional experience part of songwriting and not so much only lyrics, but I got no response from the modz.

Musicality is alot harder to criticise what with subjectivity and all that. And it might just turn into a giant 'post ur bands myspace lol' forum.

And it'll take away the fun of being able to tell people to go to audio arena. Somtimes that's the only reason I get up in the morning.

Saying "this sucks" is pretty easy I think I should be a mod.

No, I don't mean band whoring, I mean specific questions of how to make a good chord progression, how to make things fit lyrically and musically, etc.

I'm back to work. I'm working behind a bar again, which is alright. Better than some desk job I guess.

Tojes can make protest music and I can make bar room music. When its quiet I'll sit in the corner, have a smoke and play on the out of tune piano.
