Ash, do you have any live pageninetynine?
Probably. |
I just wanna see some vids of them when they had like 10+ people playing at one time.
|
They didn't. They had 7 members.
|
g. 99 were a punk rock band from Sterling, Virginia on the outskirts of Washington, D.C. The band formed as a 6-piece in winter 1998 and later expanded to an 8-piece. Always changing members, they once played as a 14 member outfit.

11-19 Gainesville, FL @ the fest 4 True North Transistor Transistor Circle Takes the Square Gospel Hot Cross Fiya Glass and Ashes Ampere wish i lived in florida
i couldn't get off work to drive up there and see it. having responsibilities can suck at times. i'm hoping some of them return next year, since i'll be living in gainesville then. |
I might fly over and go next year. The line-ups always awesome and I could use a holiday.

If that's from wiki, it's probably wrong. |
Wow is right. They might of had twelve people TOTAL... but that's because they have changed members often. I don't ever remember hearing that they had over ten members, that's a little rediculous.
|
They have 8 members listed on their level plane site and I think I read something on the pg99 website about having 10+. Whatever though.
|
KFS had 14 or something, doesn't mean it was all at once. :p
|
CTTS are there the 4th and Hot Cross is there the 14th. Looking into those too.
Damn you Chris. |

That would make for an odd show if all it once. |
it's so frustrating to have songs and no band

Go solo like me. Ask Neeshee how much Knifai (My solo project) owns. (It actually sucks but he loves me.) |
mp3s?
you know i used to just play by myself, i'd play guitar and kick a bass drum and that was the band... but it got old and i wanted to make good sounding music with like drums and bass. the concentration of people who listen to good music is very small, and then factoring in the ablility to play an instrument... it's impossible haha |
CTTS is coming here feb 11 w/ Junius and Love Always Your Friend.
anyone ever heard of the other two? edit: holy shit junius are terrible, why they are touring with CTTS is beyond me. |

There ARE people that are in the same situation as you, me being one. If all else fails. Buy a xtrack recorder (depending on how layered you want everything) buy all of the individual instruments. Play one instrument, record, play second record over it. and tadah. You have a song all by yourself. I did that last year as a two peice band with a friend. EDIT (to k1ckthecat) - The other band has a horrible name too, so most likly, horrible band. I really hate it when good bands play with some of the worst bands that you've ever heard. :( |
In the booklet of Document 8 it lists 9 names. I always wondered what the hell the 9th guy played if they have 2 vocalists, 3 guitarist, 1 drummer and 2 bassists.

My mp3s are secret. |

How weird would that be if it WAS all at once? |
It'd be better 'cause I doubt the full length would blows as much as it does if they had that many people working on it.
