The fact that he loves TGP makes me think AJIG will like Awake better.

You know, the album that actually HAS some balls compared to I&W :p

Huber 04-24-2005 02:48 PM
Has anyone else checked out the streams?
I'm going too after I'm done listening to the Glass Prison

The JoZ 04-24-2005 02:49 PM

Enjoy!!!

Kage 04-24-2005 02:49 PM
But they're official. It's not like you're downloading anything illegal.
I could give a rat's ass about illegal, I'm talking about the experience.

Dried Muffin Remnants 04-24-2005 02:50 PM

Does anyone want to here more Portishead or Massive Attack? Or should I not bother. I'm not offended or anything, it's just that I have these links with me, and I might as well use them.

I think it's more of an anticipation thing. He wants to buy the album when it's released, and have that first session and take it in all at once. I'm doing that with Catch 33.

Balls? It's all about knowing where your feminine side is and knowing you can resort to it (another day, surrounded) but still being able to rock out (take the time, metropolis) Yeah I+W has got balls.

I'm beginning to think that i may just love this album for wait for sleep :o

And TGP is my favourite DT song, so that is irrelevant :p

Darkness 04-24-2005 02:50 PM

/downloads hopeing its not as bad as he thinks it will probably be...

Precisely. The first day I'm getting it, I'll blast it on the surround sound. My crappy computer speakers (relatlively speaking) can't compete with that. Not to mention, I love the thrill of opening a brand new CD and looking at the artwork as I experience its ambience.

I know how you feel. I wil be dong this with Tool. Even though i think they will try hard not to allow it to be leaked

Tool is definately a band that I need to do that with. Same goes with most of my favorite bands, but with Tool it's almost a necessity.

Huber 04-24-2005 02:53 PM

How exactly do things get leaked anyways? Some ******* takes it from the studio and puts into the P2P servers or what?

clearvision 04-24-2005 02:53 PM

Go for it, I will listen...that song was cool... :)

Kage 04-24-2005 02:54 PM

That's one way, I guess. Then there are journalists, hackers, etc.

I'd love to hear some Portishead. I've never heard them, but they sound really interesting.

Lol i only know that has happened once, With tim skold's Ep, they stole it out of his trailer and eh refused to finish it...

normally it is a copy sent to a reviewer that is leaked...I guess sometimes it comes from the studio though.

Huber 04-24-2005 02:55 PM
That's one way, I guess. Then there are journalists, hackers, etc.
Ahhh, the hackers. Didn't think about that...

The Glass Prison is over(Awesome BTW, thanks Joz). Time for the NIN streams...

A lot of journalist's leak them and some times false friends can.

Adam Jones is GOD 04-24-2005 02:55 PM

Sometimes it can even be someone working in the studio. Which is another reason for tool to shut themselves away and update as little as possible

(or thats the excuse they could use)

Kage 04-24-2005 02:56 PM

I think in this day and age, it's almost impossible to not have songs leaked.

Yeah like noone knew the name for laterlaus until it came out or nothing about it.

Kage 04-24-2005 02:56 PM
Also.. the CDs get shipped to retailers WEEKS before the release, and usually some little dickhead kid gets in there, jacks one, and puts it on the internet.
Yeah, that's true.

Huber 04-24-2005 02:56 PM

I wanna know how Catch 33 got leaked. That was very very early.

Syncratic 04-24-2005 02:57 PM

When the new album comes out, I'll pick that and Frances the Mute up,cuz by then I'll have my 75$ that I won.....sweet :)

Kage 04-24-2005 02:58 PM
Yeah like noone knew the name for laterlaus until it came out or nothing about it.
That's because the information released about it was made up.

Huber 04-24-2005 03:01 PM

No, don't slow down!

Kage 04-24-2005 03:01 PM

Adam Jones is GOD 04-24-2005 03:04 PM

C'mon people, my refresh button can take the pain.

Wasnt it the Deftones who released false press packs of an album, that when played said something like <insert deftones new songs here>?

That would be a clever decoy thing to pull again. And a very Tool humour thing
