i never read the bible... too many pages... i have heard that god killed a lot of people... although i thought he didn't actually do it himself... like he sent the angel of death down and he actually killed the people

It's such a black and white image of good and evil when both characters are essentially the same. God created the problems by creating life. If he didn't want man to disobey him, then why did he give man free thought? Why did he not give man concrete evidence of his own existence instead of expecting man, who's ego is now so inflated that it's pluming out of his a[B]s[/B]s in great foul smelling clouds, to follow the sentiments of an anonymous entity?
Satan does the same thing as God, except he appeals to the nature of man. The nature that God bestowed upon man. He's far easier to believe in, 'cause he embodies all that man is, and all that man likes in his fellow man.

You can take Satan for good, and you can take God for evil.

hey someone on here knows what they're talking about... and still has a sense of humor... yay... and you know what it could easily be argued that god didn't create man, but man created god as a way to explain everything that can't be explained, to convince themselves that there is life after you die and the things we do actually have a purpose, and as a way to control people... nothing scares someone more than the threat of going to hell and being tortured for all eternity... which isn't neccesarily a bad thing... if it keeps people from raping babies i'm for it...

although it didn't do all that great of a job of keeping the priests in line... i guess they figured they were automatically forgiven for anything they do since they live for the lord or whatever it is they tried to tell themselves... people confuse me... also i have no cat to scare with a dangle ball... i have 2 dogs though... and one i think had a labotomy or something before we got her... we used to have fun with her standing in the kitchen which was linoleum tile and calling her... and then watching her run from the carpet in the living room to the linoluem in the kitchen and sliding into the back... then we would laugh... and do it again

edit: by the way before anyone gets mad i'm not saying there is no god... i think there has to be something out there somewhere because if you put a bunch of gasses together life does not spring forth out of it... something had to make the first little bacteria or whatever it was when life started here... i'm just saying people's perception of god and satan and religion could easily be completely wrong... everyone has their own version of a god or gods or some kind of higher power... who's to say who has the right one
