been downloading shit from there all day. everything ive listened to has been top notch.

Other Music - Incidents Out of Context (synthy avant jazz)
Alain Meunier – Voyage aux fonds de la mer (electro acoustic experimentalism)
Kinothek Percussion Ensemble – Suspense (minimal synth and mesmerizing drum loops)
Armonicord - Esprits de sel (bouncy noise jazz with prominent trombone)

are what i've been listening to these past few hours while ive been doing some programming homework. all highly recommended.
:D

id really like to be able to enjoy that music, it just hasn't caught on to me yet.

it probably will though, ive gotten into so many genres that i didnt like before
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0NjcMND8Qao

do you like this?

RouteOne 01-30-2012 09:53 PM

lmao

this blog is trying way too hard to go after a genre hardly anyone listens to (relatively)

i can groove to that. one of the better ebm tracks ive heard. love the gamelan/marimba sounding echoic synth sprinkled about. the vocals are actually pretty palatable too.

do they not understand that most people who listen to this stuff dont buy into the ideology

or most people that make this music for that matter

RouteOne 01-30-2012 10:22 PM

There are some legitimate fascists in the genre like Arditi and Von Thronstahl, and even then I don't give a shit.

kitsch 01-30-2012 10:32 PM

yeah me either. its not like theyre anything other than fringe; if you want to hear this music you have to search for it.

I love A Split Second. There's plenty of non distinctive EBM, they are one of the few standouts if you ask me.

kitsch 01-30-2012 10:34 PM

ill make note of them for the next time im craving some more old-skool industrialesque music

Yeah they're pretty solid. They did some stuff with Boyd and Douglas too.

Haz 02-03-2012 09:58 PM

do you like Allerseelen, Ron

Aakon_Keetreh 02-03-2012 10:00 PM

never heard but it sounds like he has anal sex

Haz 02-03-2012 10:04 PM
Allerseelen are the experimental, post-industrial and military pop music works of Austrian musician Gerhard Petak, aka Kadmon. The German name is translated into English as All Souls' Day. Their music is inspired by nature and has a strong philosophical/alchemical context inspired by the writings of Friedrich Nietzsche, Carl Jung, Ernst Jünger, and Julius Evola.
probably more inspired by other artists who like these things

Yeah I like his stuff. More of his recent material, though. I was listening to Hallstatt the other day.

Die weisse rose covered his song Flamme and it is really good:

Cool to see their take on it.

Haz 02-03-2012 10:43 PM

damn, those were good

I picked up a heap of his albums on slsk a while back. the stuff I listened to reminded me a lot of early Current 93
Slimelight club in Islington, North London has booked a “set of acts with fascist ties” for October 2011. These include Peter Sotos, who “has written tributes to Joseph Mengele (also known as the Angel of Death in Auschwitz) and whose self-produced fanzine contains references to ‘Nazi triumphs’, with frequent and lurid references to the abuse of children and women.”
This makes me sick, it's 2012, we shouldn't have to deal with animals like this anymoar.

he waffles on a bit, that was mildly amusing though

seems very proud of remembering the words of Anton LaVey in that Q&A argument he had

RouteOne 02-04-2012 08:24 PM

I enjoy his hair

Aakon_Keetreh 02-04-2012 09:25 PM

the vatican shadow song on the hospital comp is really good

kitsch 02-05-2012 12:22 AM

i didnt like his newest release, yemini cammando or wahtever

it was cool the first two listens but then got old quick

Aakon_Keetreh 02-05-2012 12:42 AM

thats how a lot of his releases are. the saddam one was good though. The one off the comp sounded like more of his older stuff. prolly why it was so good.
