Tom Waits - Rain Dogs
Antony and the Johnsons - I Am a Bird Now The Smiths - The Smiths I Heart Hiroshima |
After seeing the name around here a bit, decided to check out Shpongle.
Good shizzle. |
It's a Radiohead day.
|
Hawkwind-Orgone Accumuliator
GREAT song. |
RYM is telling me I'd like Tortoise. Can anyone recommend them?

I've heard some songs from TNT before and they were pretty good, you'll like 'em if you're looking for post rock that's not "dramatic". I just got Millions Now Living Will Never Die awhile ago. So far "Glass Museum" and "The Taut and Tame" are some good starter songs. |
Tortoise are cool, but they get boring. If you want something like Tortoise, but cooler and more varied then get some Stereolab in ya'.
Wow, best song ever = Imogen Heap - Hide & Seek. Imagine Bjork covering Alanis Morrisette with only voice and slight synths. It's possibly the most emo(tional) song I've ever heard. Orsum. |
Hey, everyone!
Go to http://www.saosin.com and vote for Forever Wings Fold as the band to open for them in the column on the right side of the page, please, and we'll love you forever. This is really important to us, and please tell all of your friends to vote for us, too. - Forever Wings Fold. Oh my ****ing goodness. Please, guys vote for them and I shall love you forever, too. I know the drummer to the band and they're pretty effing good and they're in love with Saosin. Check out their music at http://www.myspace.com/foreverwingsfold. They are completely awesome. Please, guys, vote for them and tell all of your friends to vote for them and to spread the word, as well. ALL OF THEM! Please, and thank you. Voting ends on the 7th, so hurry! Oh, and friend pointed out to me that you could vote twice if you use two different computers. Another friend also told me that if you delete your cookies after each vote, you can vote a few more times - don't push it, though, because the I.P. address is still the same and they may get suspicios. Adios, and thanks again! :thumb: |
Explosions In The Sky
Slowdive M83 |
Elliott Smith - Figure 8
Neutral Milk Hotel - In An Aeroplane Over The Sea ..have been the bulk of my music listening today. |
Red House Painters
Mark Kozelek is seriously my hero
Finally! |
The Dillinger Escape Plan- Miss Machine
"Unretrofied" is absolutely dreadful when compared to the rest of the album, but otherwise it's just a radio-friendly song that I wouldn't mind listening to out of context. I like to imagine that a Three Days Grace fan heard this on the radio once and decided to buy the album. And then the look on his face when "Panasonic Youth" opens up the album in the most asskicking way possible. |
Fear - The Record
New York's alright if you wanna get pushed in front of the subway. |
Yo La Tengo
|
Wolf Parade - Apologies to the queen mary
Best CD this year so far, its totally awesome! |
hahahhahahahah
|
why is that funny?!
|
'cos you're a n00b would be my guess.
Or, maybe just maybe, it's because that album is clearly not the album of the year and is actually quite overrated. Today: Jackson Browne - Runnin' on Empty The Deadly Snakes - Porcella (bands with the word snakes in it are (generally) awesome) Sleater Kinney - The Woods (surprisingly good) |
Jeff Buckley
Elliot Smith Mono All in unhealthy doses. |
yeah i recon im heaps n00b, but the album is awesome. Let it grow on you! i swear, i hated it at first and then it all changed. There is no filler at all in this cd. i just bought Franz Ferdinands latest, and heaps of its just filler. With Apologies, all the songs are unique and rock in their own way. anyone else enjoy this cd as much as me??
|
Don't try and justify yourself man, it's almost as pointless as trying to plug that album.
|
look, i dont know who the hell you are but i dont like you already. zizzy wangzi or what ever you call yourself, you obviously cant hear the greatness which wolf parade posses.
|
Hey! settle down big cat. I havn't attacked you yet, and it's just petty and plain laziness if you "can't" spell my username correctly. I couldn't care less whether you prem your y-fronts over Wolf Parade and I doubt many others do either.
I like Wolf Parade, but... THE ALBUM IS NOT AS GOOD AS YOU THINK IT IS. But remember, I'm just an e-being and I basically don't exist at the other end of your pc so don't pop a hernia (or even concern yourself) over my opinion of Wolf Parade. k? |
sure dude, only playing ;)
im kida bored at the mo' so a little argument is always entertaining... keep it real |
OmG lol.
|
i have officialy made the worst entrance into a forum EVER !!!

Kaada/Patton - Romances
Some parts can be kinda eh, but the good parts... tasty! And I finally dig "Teenage Riot" by Sonic Youth after a long time of indifference towards it... Now I need to check out some more songs... |

Orsum.
Good. That album was one of those I'm going to order when I finally get my hands on some money, so it's nice to have some assurance. I only just got up, so so far my digging has been limited to some random Beatles tracks. I love the Beatles. |

Too bad Greg had to go make Error and mess everything up. |
I can't figure out what I want to listen to. I left my bass in the car and it's too late to go get it out.
/sigh |
zizzy wangzi or what ever you call yourself
Mclusky - Do Dallas
Wires on Fire - Home Wrecker The Living End - Self titled (nostalgatronic) |
Okay, I've decided Matisyahu is good enough for me to say I'm diggin' him in this thread.
|
John Cale - Vintage Violence
John Cale - Fear |

Six organs of addmitacne- the manifestation

Really? I like it a lot. The last track is amazing. |
Man, Thrice kick arse. I thought I would hate them and I didn't especially want to like them, but I really do.
