It's being mixed / recorded / written in Januarty 2005 time; theyve got about 30 hours work of demo riff tapes to chip through.

I'm more interested in the new megadeth album then the new metallica album.

I can't wait for the new album. Hopefully, it is better than St.Anger, which by Metallica's standards was pretty sh*t, but still better than a lot of music being made these days.

if thier new album is anything like St. anger i will disown them as a fan.... and thats saying somthing cause they are my all time favourite band... next to a couple local ones..

Whoa! Thats big news! Apparently, Rob Trujillo is really into old-school music and if he gets a major say in future Metallica songs, hopefully we could have a new thrash metal Metallica album!

Some of it is. But on the other hand theirs a few really great songs in their. Kick The Chair, Blackmail The Universe ect. It definately is far better than St.Anger. It has solos and good ones at that even in the tame songs.
