Best prog band ever. Toured with DT this year. They were clearly the better of the two, DT opened

Try em out, they are way better than DT.

BludgeonySteve 11-30-2004 10:52 PM

Of course DT opened. Yes is very famous and DT is only semi-famous.

I think that DT is better though (just a bit better).

May curses and fire rain upon your home and demolish your family. And then may your graves be overturned by necrophiliacs.

Nice...I'm assuming that's a video game. Actually, something just occured to me...I was playing Medal of Honor: Allied Assault online multiplayer today, and this kid named thickasabrick was playing for the Allies and I was Axis and we kept getting into sniping battles. Then, I see that there's a person online here in musicianforums named thickasabrick and I wonder if it's the same person.

Not really. I was kidding...I would imagine from your usertitle that it's not a huge interest of yours.

Agrees. Steve Howe owns Petrucci on every level of versatility, though. Could Petrucci ever write anything as cool as "The Clap?" I think not.

Skill wise I agree, but musically Yes is far superior. I can't listen to DT nearly as much as Yes.

 no, but I try to keep an open mind.

Badmoon 11-30-2004 11:00 PM

I've always wanted Steve Howe's signature ES-175. Great guitar!

Permanent Solution 11-30-2004 11:04 PM

Meh, I'm not a fan of that Jazz look.
