That's good. Was everyone laughing about it back at the station, or did you get yelled at and stuff?
That's good. Was everyone laughing about it back at the station, or did you get yelled at and stuff?
My friend cracked a joke, and I started laughing and the cops just started yelling at us telling us what deep shit we were in.
We laughed about it a bit this morning but everyone's still pretty shocked. |
Haha I find it funny.
How about the time I was in Tower Records scanning through a copy of Maximum Rock and Roll when I heard gunshots outside. So me, being used to gunshots because my house is in the ghetto (and being stupid), I ran outside to see what was going on. With the copy of MRR still in my hand. What I found out was that a major local drug dealer pulled into the parking lot in his Escalade to sell drugs, and the cops were called on him. When the cops came, he opened fire and they had a brief firefight, after which the cops found lke 20+ lbs pot, a kilo of coke, and a fully loaded AK47. But even with all this, get this, I was picked up in front of the Tower Records doors for stealing the MRR. I spent the next four hours in cuffs. Luckily, the security dude at Tower was a punk, and after he did the paperwork he let me go. So I just sat there listening to Bad Brains, which he put on for me. |
Wait, a punk security guard?

Yes, this reminds me of a similar situation I was in. This cop came up to a friend and I and started interrogating us. I told him that we were not involved in the crime he accused us of and that there was nothing to worry about. He immediately (acting like a jack-a'ss) got out of his car and started asking our indentities. I told him all I had to, then he started asking more about the situation, I already told him we didn't, so I said nothing more. He then chases me, slams me against his car, frisks me, and slams my stomach into the car with my hands behind my back. I got really pissed and just said stuff like "you can't touch me, get the hell off of me." All in all we were let off, but my friend had marijuana on him so it was scary. Police brutality is so lame, and it's definitely out there, in almost every cop. They instigate a lot of power abuse, it sucks, and makes the situation so much worse.

Something like that happened to me with airsoft guns a few weeks back. I posted it here.

Where's the latest song poll?
|
I've been arrested too :upset:
I was walking with one of my friends and her boyfriend at the time, who I didn't really know. We were going to just walk downtown to the record store, because it was a really nice day for the first time in a long time. On the way there he says "hey, want to go look at this abandon school?" and because of my interest in abandoned buildings, my friend and I were totally up for it. I didn't know we were going to go in, but when he opened the garage door, I couldn't say no. We got into the rest of the building from there, after manuvering though the dark. The building was absolutely amazing. There was some really funny graffiti all over the place. Old furniture, a bible, a record player exactly like the one in my house, a giant safe. There was also this big auditorium that was beautiful. Covered in graffiti aswell. There was also a little room with a matress in it. So like idiots we walk out of the building as though nothing happend. I was very happy, but then as I start walking, and asking my friends who are ahead of me if I should shut the garage door, a car pulls up. A cop comes out of the car and starts asking us questions. He calls for another cop who asks us even more questions. The whole time I'm just thinking about how screwed I am if this gets to my parents. When they search my friend's boyfriend, they find markers on him, and accuse us of tagging. We also look like two punks and a hippie, so the cops are very willing to take us to the station. So they do. After the searching, questioning, fingerprinting, picture... you know, the works, I was put in a recess cell, and waited for my dad to come pick me up. My parents were pissed to say the least. |

It had a repeat of a song in an earlier poll. It will be remade soon. |
of my interest in abandoned buildings, my friend and I were totally up for it.
I love abandoned buildings! Too bad there's none where I live. Today, in Communications, I had to write a horror story. It had to have a setting, a good character, and an evil character. I was like..."fu'ck....I suck at writing!" So I just decided to be totally random and stupid. I wrote about an abandoned dinosaur museum, where Clint Eastwood (who once beat up Satan in hand to hand combat) had to fight a T-Rex. See, this museum was where all the dino ghosts went to play cards and drive go carts and play video games and stuff, but there was a real T-Rex terrorizing the place. Long story short, Jesus and Indiana Jones come in, they get eaten, and "Miserlou" by Dick Dale starting playing, which was the theme to Pulp Fiction. The dino is distracted by the music, and Clint shoots him. The end. My teacher thought it was wonderful and creative. How odd, because I thought it was shi't. |
Me and some of my friends were hanging out and walking down a street one night when this kid came running up. None of us were drinking at the time but this kid that some of us knew, but no one really likes, came and he had a bunch of beer bottles. He was drinking one of them and then he handed it to my friend and all of a sudden a car pulls up and my friend jams the bottle in his pocket quickly. The car turned out to be a cop and he said we looked "suspicious" so he searched us and he found the beer bottle in my friend's pocket. My friend got arrested and basically got screwed because some stupid a'sshole came and handed him the beer bottle when he wasn't even the one drinking.

 interesting story, EightMilesHigh.
I also love abandoned buildings. The summer before this whole arrested fiasco I had an interest in this abandoned house somewhat near my house. I would go there, climb onto the roof of the portch and just sit there. I always pondered about a way to get in, but never did it. Eventually one of the neighbors saw me from their backyard and I believe called the cops. I left. The next day I was passing by there and I saw a cop car in the back of the building. Never sat on the roof again. This year someone broke into that building. I noticed the cellar door was pryed open, and really wanted to investigate, but didn't. A couple weeks later it was pretty obvious that some type of arson happend inside. They tore it down shortly after :( The building I got arrested outside of was amazing. I wish I could go into more, but now I kind of have a fear of it. They still fascinate me, though. I probably would've gotten off just fine if I wasn't with a kid who looked really punk and had markers, who also happend to have a record. |
