Gnarmageddon 04-23-2006 04:50 PM

I only have 4 classes per day, so exams aren't that bad for me.

I think there are 5 weeks left. 23 full days or something. :D

Pazz 04-23-2006 04:53 PM

I only have 3 exams this semester. Music, History and English.

DepthsOfDreams555 04-23-2006 04:54 PM

I only have 4 classes a day too, exams suck. I have exactly 33 days of school left. Man it is going to be so long.

PDWAB 04-23-2006 04:54 PM

I only have a final in Italian, but I also have to write and perform a piece for my composition class.

EDIT: Dangit there was a movie I wanted to download but now I don't remember what it was :(

Pazz 04-23-2006 04:55 PM
I only have 4 classes a day too, exams suck. I have exactly 33 days of school left. Man it is going to be so long.
I counted 45 days the other week, which makes sense since it was midterm and we have 90 days a semester. So, I'm down to 41 days.

PDWAB 04-23-2006 04:57 PM

29 days for this cowboy!

Gnarmageddon 04-23-2006 04:57 PM

Ouch. You won't even be out of school until halfway through June. : \

Mute Print 04-23-2006 04:57 PM

We have 35 days left, and then a few days of exams.

Ya we have the same amount of days as you. You guys must have started later. We get out on June 9. We never get out on a Friday but this year we do. We have a really short summer this year. We go back in early August.

Pazz 04-23-2006 04:59 PM
Ouch. You won't even be out of school until halfway through June. : \
Our last day is like June 22nd. Then we have one exam each day for 4 days, with a 5th day incase of school closure. So we have a half day for 4 days, but I get the 4th day off to because no exam in religion.

PDWAB 04-23-2006 04:59 PM

Ouch.

My quarter next year doesn't start until the end of September.

Haha ya well college schedules run differently than high school schedules. Ya but it is going to suck. I just have to last till next summer though it will be extra long.

Haha I'm already thinking about next summer. Wow.

Pazz 04-23-2006 05:03 PM

We go back after labour day weekend in September.

DepthsOfDreams555 04-23-2006 05:04 PM
We go back after labour day weekend in September.
SON OF A BITCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DANG

I'm having chocolate peanut butter ice cream. It's so tasty. I love cookie dough ice cream though. It's my fav.

Same.

Pazz 04-23-2006 05:07 PM
SON OF A BITCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DANG
Haha. So we get 2 months off for summer, which eventually gets so boring you want to go back to school to see people.

By the way, bitch isn't censored.:p

Mute Print 04-23-2006 05:09 PM
So we get 2 months off for summer, which eventually gets so boring you want to go back to school to see people.
That never happens for me. It may have something to do with the fact that my school consists of nothing but retards.

DepthsOfDreams555 04-23-2006 05:10 PM
Same.
You get a long summer. I remember you started this year a lot later than I did.
Haha. So we get 2 months off for summer, which eventually gets so boring you want to go back to school to see people.

I always think I feel like going back and then I get there and I know I was stupid in thinking I wanted to be back at school. I hate school. O well excuse me...bitch

Mute Print 04-23-2006 05:11 PM
You get a long summer. I remember you started this year a lot later than I did.
Yeah. We get the last 10 days or so of June, all of July and August, and the first week of September usually.

Pazz 04-23-2006 05:14 PM
That never happens for me. It may have something to do with the fact that my school consists of nothing but retards.
I didn't have a whole lot of friends going into this school in grade 9, I came from public. I was only friends with Brandon and knew a few others. By the start of grade 10, I didn't have a whole lot of friends, but I still wanted to go back to see who I did talk to. Now I actually have more than 4 friends at the school so I predict this summer the same thing will happen.

Zach: I remember thinking the exact same thing.:p

DepthsOfDreams555 04-23-2006 05:15 PM
Yeah. We get the last 10 days or so of June, all of July and August, and the first week of September usually.
That is a high quality summer.

I only have a couple friends at school, and I'll see them a lot over the summer, so I hate going back to school.
That is a high quality summer.
yep. nothing better.

I have a feeling I'm going to do really bad in english this quarter. I probably should have read the Odyssey instead of just looking at online notes. :-\

I only have like 6 friends that I ever hang out with, and a girlfriend, and I will be with them all summer so there is no need for school haha. I will do fine in English we are just finishing up a novel, and then we will be doing a research paper all 4th quarter. I always don't feel like trying the fourth quarter though. I think I am going to do very very bad in Chemistry though. I'm already off to a really bad start.

Pazz 04-23-2006 05:21 PM
Haha ya. Why did you switch from public to private school?
It's not a private school. There's not much difference between the public high school and the catholic high school. The catholic school teaches religion as mandatory classes and has uniform.

The catholic school is much closer, 10 minute walk compared to a 20 minute walk. I didn't like many of the people I went to school with in grades 7 and 8, but some I did and kinda wish I didn't leave them, but happy I did because I met new people.

Mute Print 04-23-2006 05:22 PM

I hate english, because I hate reading and writing.

I'm doing fine in the rest of my classes, and I might be able to pull off a good grade in english if I'm really lucky.

Pazz 04-23-2006 05:24 PM

I'm doing really well in English. I have an 88% so far and my essay will be marked and included on my midterm report and I did really well on it.

I was under the impression that a private school is a catholic school, I guess I'm wrong. Well was it your choice to switch schools?

I love Geometry which is the math class I'm in this year. Pre-Calc is going to suck next year.

Haha, if I end up doing poorly, it'll probably be like an 80-85%. Anything lower than an 'A' is bad to me, but at the same time, I don't work hard, so I guess I can't complain. :-\

Yeah. My sister did the same thing 4 years before me, so I decided to follow in her footsteps.

Brian: It's my highest mark so far. Bad for me is in the 70's or lower.

DepthsOfDreams555 04-23-2006 05:28 PM

Anything under a B is bad for me. I have been getting A's this year which surprises me because I usually have a B average, but this year I have been getting all A's all year. I'm not doing anything different this year either, I barely every do homework and I don't study for anything.
Brian: It's my highest mark so far. Bad for me is in the 70's or lower.
Isn't your grading scale different though? Isn't a 70% still a B?

Mute Print 04-23-2006 05:30 PM

My parents would flip if I got below a 'B' as a quarter mark. :-\

Zach: I never study either. I always pull A's and B's too.

Pazz 04-23-2006 05:31 PM

I made honour roll in semester one, and I'm hoping to make it again this semester. If I don't make it this semester it will be because of music because right now it's 73%.

Drummer Freak 911 04-23-2006 05:33 PM

the only reason why i made honor roll is because i got an A+ in my band class

80+ is an A
70-79% is a B
60-69% is a C
50-59 % is a D
Below 50 is an F

I don't take any honors classes or anything either. But I know it is going to catch up to me, I'm going to need to change my habits sooner or later. I'm just a lazy person.

In semester 1 I had an 84% average.

77% in Careers (Careers is only half a semester class, I got 85% in Civics)
91% in Math
87% in Communication Technology
76% in Science
