thats how the new album is, i think they shouldve stuck to the whole brutal/melodic dm combo thing, they pulled it off better

i agree, their older stuff was much better imo

the slam death part in gridlock (right after '...it's clearly brie time baby' [a clip from the film entitled [I]there's something about mary[/I]] in the demo) is so ****ing good, i love the inhales going on the background in the juggernaut version

also, mike said in an interview that their main influences on shades = at the gates and the black dahlia murder, so go figure
