Last Ditch Effort 02-20-2005 03:43 PM
Adrian isn't a bad singer, Bruce isn't a bad guitarist, I recken he probably bluff bass too. I wouldn't put it past Steve to suprise us on drums, and I reckon any of the guitarists could rip up the bass a bit.
That's cause Adrian does backup vocals.
But...to be honest, he is pretty bad. Listen to Live After Death in Choruses where he sings.

vashts80 02-20-2005 06:29 PM

I think Janick, Steve, and Adrian all do backing vocals...Adrian and Steve did backing vocals during the last chorus of Blood Brothers at Rio, Janick and Steve and I'm pretty sure Adrian all did backing vocals @ Rio during Run to the Hills...

GurS 02-20-2005 06:38 PM

I'm pretty sure Bruce came up with the famous drum intro to The Prisoner.

thelittledrummerboy 02-20-2005 06:51 PM

How come no one has answered my question.
And Adrian is an awsome singer, he used to sing with Dave way back to be apart of their band, just watch the rio docco

vashts80 02-20-2005 07:05 PM

What's the B-Side that Nicko and Steve got into an arguement called? I want to get that...sounds awesome.

YDload 02-20-2005 08:25 PM

The bass forum is having a feature called "Ask A Pro," where the mods try to get in contact with a famous bassist and have him or her answer questions.

I was wondering if they tried Steve Harris yet, but then I remembered that he's probably gotten an awful lot of fan mail over the decades, and some of it he probably hasn't even read ("Dude you should get rid of that Dianno guy he sucks!!!"). But it would be pretty neat to get to ask Steve some questions, huh?

ides of march 02-20-2005 11:23 PM

i agree, although the guys from the band are pretty good at other instruments... their also good at fishing, golfing and partying

Don't forget football, fencing, and flying!

EDIT: Oohh, alliteration.

Steve fences? I was talking about Bruce, but I wouldn't be surprised if Steve did too.

YDload 02-21-2005 01:38 AM

A Beavis and Butthead rerun was on MTV2 and they watched a video for "From Here to Eternity." Pretty good song, considering it's from the sub-par era of Maiden.

led_zep_luvr 02-21-2005 01:46 AM

sup maiden fans?

Lord Abortion 02-21-2005 03:19 AM

woah I missed a canny bit...
hello you 'orrible lot

Hallowed be thy name is therefore the greatest metal song of all time because stairway is rock...not metal

H can sing quite well...

steve cannot however...
anyone who has the earlydays DVD or maiden england sees Bruce play acoustic guitar on revelations

which may possibly be the best song he has written solo
any opinions guys?
