Ba-zing!

I have come to the conclusion that MX is feckin' slow tonight. As am I, or I would have bothered to get past the swear filter instead of inserting a clevery-placed replacement letter.

Me needs sleep. Or beer.Or sleep and beer.

Either way I want to kick Juliya from FUSE in the face. I have no idea where that came from, but let's see wherediscussion leads us :p

Man, I wish I had digital cable nowadays, I miss the metal station, at 11 o clock on Monday nights they'd play death and thrash metal for an hour. But yeah, that chick from Uraninium annoyed the hell out of me. I also miss my metal mania, even though 70% of the bands aired on that were poppy hair metal bands.

Shred Danson 12-29-2005 10:28 PM

You know, VH1 may think all metal is hair metal, but occasionaly, Metal Mania had some diamonds in the rough, heh...

Tyler 12-29-2005 10:30 PM

We still get LOUD the show here on muchmusic, which is decent. We have a LOUD channel too, but it mostly plays a lot of shiitty Nickleback videos. It does occasionally play good stuff though, it just isn't worth the money. Still, the show pwns more or less.

blue3 12-29-2005 10:30 PM

I have no idea who 'Juliya from FUSE' is. And I listen to hair metal, but I'm sure most/none of you don't.

Yeah, I've seen them play some Testament, Slayer, and Metallica videos.

I like a lot of the solos in hair metal, but overall, it doesn't really appeal to me.

Nah. I just saved this account. It was stuck between heaven and hell. In other words I never accepted the email notification so it was sitting around gaining dust.

/paranoid about people ripping off this name, even though some tard signed up as David Gilmour today.

Jom 12-29-2005 11:23 PM

Hi, everyone. I can finally get on the bloody computer for the first time today (meh, it's what happens when one's younger brother doesn't like to negotiate, and I can't beat him up because the age disparity favors me by a substantial number of years, and that means I'd be bullying him, and he'd bitch about that, prolonging me access to Internetsland even more, blah blah blah).

So, tonight for dinner I went to this Little Italy restaurant in my city because my dad had a huge gift certificate for there.

I've never been so full in my life. We had reservations at 17:00, and I'm about ready to explode hours later.

This place serves food "family style," so there were six groups of food: appetizers, salads, pastas, entrees, vegetables, and desserts, each with 15-30 different items in each group. Pick two from each group.

So, appetizer was Mozzarella Marinara, which was breaded and baked mozzarella with marinara sauce (derrhrrhrr), and fried zucchini.

Salads were chopped and caesar.

Pastas were fettucine alfredo (I suck at spelling Italian stuff) with broccoli and four-cheese ravioli in a pesto alfredo sauce.

Entrees were chicken parmesan (best I've ever had) and this other chicken [insert bizarre Italian name here] with proscuitto and mozzarella.

I forget what the veggies were.

Desserts were this huge cheesecake (for 'rents) and for my brother and I, a pound cake with vanilla ice cream (huge freakin' scoop) with hot fudge and caramelized bananas.

I think I can roll around, rather than walk :mmph:

/two word post.

Gilmour 12-29-2005 11:25 PM

I skipped dinner :-/

Im hungry, but I dont want to drive anywhere. I sure as hell dont want to wait in line for an hour at Taco Bell.

Moses 12-29-2005 11:27 PM

So today at Subway, while I was working, I had to help 4 dragqueens. I'm not weirded out by that stuff but it if a bit funny to see a guy in a fur coat and make up, and in a deep gruff voice say, "I'll have the Subway Club sandwich, a footlong".

Bazarov 12-29-2005 11:28 PM

How'd your physical go, Jom?

Apocalyptic Raids 12-29-2005 11:32 PM

I ate breakfast today. That's wall so far, and it's 4;32pm :(

Now that I think about it, I'm quite hungry.

Jom 12-29-2005 11:36 PM
How'd your physical go, Jom?
Good. X-rays showed that my back isn't broken but that my discs still suck. I've begun physical therapy (which sucks even though it'll make me feel better in the end).

My heart, lungs, skeletal system, and all that other stuff checked out fine. In my strength tests, I almost drilled the doctor out of his chair (accident, I swear).

The only problem was that I have a higher blood pressure than my doctor'd (and I'd) like to see. Part of it was because I was nervous, but part of it is that I haven't been keeping as strict of a workout regimen (weights and cardiovascular/aerobic) as I did prior to my injury, so as a result of not exercising as intensely (and because of shitty uni food where the #1 ingredient is salt, followed closely by grease), my blood pressure is a little high.

Aside from that, my blood is terrific, and so is my piss, apparently. I just need to get this back thing figured the hell out so I can get back to where I was in terms of strength, and hopefully physical therapy will help me achieve that.

Thanks for asking, by the way.
