Just got back from Lifetime. It was so much fun, one of the best shows I've ever seen. The AKAs werent good and The Explosion did a Seeing Red cover that was good, but I wasnt really concerned w/ the opening acts. Lifetime played so tight, sounded as close to them on album as you posibly could live. Also I got the very last limited blue vinyl (/300) they had so I was happy about that too.

trance totally isn't, but ambient stuff kinda could be. I dunno, this could veer dangerously close to one of those "what is punk" conversations.

Hey yeah let's sit around and define punk all day, I can't think of anything better to do.
Eran you missed an awesome party on Saturday.
There were a couple dodgy moments but the bands were immense.
I saw an amazing band called Headjam last night.
Everyone should check them out if they come nearby...They're kinda dub/punk/awesome like Inner Terrestrials.

At work one night, I was in the cd aisle, and this lady came up to me and she said something to this effect:

"Hi. Uhhh. Yeah. Ok um Iiiiiii...I used to like..go to raves."

Right here I wanted to laugh hysterically. Then she said:

"Do you guys like. Uhhh do you have like. Um ya know like the uhhh ambient/trance stuff?"

Janitors at my school are black 'Nam vets who hate kids.

We had a janitor named Bill who came from the middle school to the highschool for a year. Pretty cool guy, but he had to go back after a student asked what he wanted for his birthday and Bill said "nah man, I don't want anything... *whisper* bombay sapphire. put it in my bottom desk drawer."

Now we have Bruce, and he kicks so much ****ing ***. He's the most delightful and friendly person I have ever met, and I've learned quite a lot about life by just being around him and talking to him. I interviewed him for my speech class and I swear I felt fantastic for an entire week.

i kinda feel sorry for my school janitor. hes around 40-ish, and i dont think hes allowed to talk to the kids. he always has this sad look in his eyes. and i want someday just to say hi and smile at him one day.
