I break up in two weeks, then have 5 weeks off (easter plus two weeks of study) then my last exams is on the 21st of May so I have about 4 months off from uni.

Can't wait to go back home either.

They're total dicks here, I've been fined so many times for stupid stuff.

Like for instance we all got fined £5 for a broken toilet seat plus labour. It does not cost £50 to replace a toilet seat.

Last year one of my roommates liked to fukc up the street right outside of our house pretty much every other weekend. Basically just breaking bottles all over the street and the like. Our neighbors and us would all get fined by the city and our neighbors would hand the fines to us and we would hand the fines to him.

All in all I think he ended up paying like $300 for multiple offenses. He asked us to help him out with some of the costs, but we all politely declined.

when I was in halls if any dickweed happened to damage something in the corridors (for example, pulling down ceiling tiles) then the whole floor got fined for it. Same happened whenever anyone was sick on the stairs leading to the fire exit.

the house I was in last year was in such a crap condition that we didn't get fined for anything that got damaged. though most of it was damaged before we moved in :-\

my current house is pretty neat. my landlord is short and a skinhead. wouldn't want to piss him off.
