Didnt think it was worth starting a new thread, so ive got a question. Me and my mate have started doing a radio show and i want to play some vinyls, and was wondering when you cue them up is it ok to get it in the right place then stop the record player and leave the stylus down, turning the player back on when you need to play the song, or will this damage the records?, cheers

I'm copying and pasting this from another forum. So this is how it goes.
I got arrested.

At gunpoint.

F[SIZE="2"]uc[/SIZE]king worst day of my life on saturday.


My friends went to film a movie in a park near my house. So we loaded up with fake guns and blood and all this s[SIZE="2"]hi[/SIZE]t to make a sweet movie. So we drive up there do our thing, and leave. On the way home I've got this little machine gun type gun on my lap and I'm waving it around just messing around, and my friend behind starts to pass this toy shotgun up to me. In the process of handing me the shotgun, the barrel sticks out the open window for a second, and some guy near us starts freaking out. He pulls up alongside us and starts shouting at me through his closed window. I'm making "What?!" faces at him best I can cause I have no idea what he's doing, then he slows down and pulls in behind us, almost slamming the back of the car and whips out his phone.

So we continue driving figuring it's just some nutso that we somehow pissed off with our driving, and we keep going. This f[SIZE="2"]uc[/SIZE]ker follows us all over the place cutting off traffic to stay right behind us, untill a ways up the road when he pulls into some strip mall. We continue driving making jokes about what a nut the guy was and after a little ways, a cop pulls us over. We all know it's got something to do with the crazy dude but no idea what.

So first the officer tells the driver to come back to his car. He walks back, the cop gets out and maeuvers him to the back of the car, and they start chatting it up. me and my friend in the backseat were just sitting and wactching out the back window all "What the f[SIZE="2"]uc[/SIZE]k is going on" so we see them put handcuffs on him, and stuff him in the back of the car. In the meantime two other cop cars have pulled up and the cops are just sitting in their cars. Finally we get an order to stick our hands out the window, so we both jam them out as far as we can. The lady tells me to get out of the car, and face forward with my hands up. So I get out and do what I'm told. She tells me to start walking backwards, and I do, and I'm told to get on my knees, and I do, and they search me, cuff me, and set me on the ground. Then they do the same thing with my other friend.

5 cops are now on the scene and they head over to the car and just start searching through everything. We can hear them talking about stuff but everytime we look over the crazy bitch cop just says "And what're you looking at?" and they rip through the car, find the fake guns, jam us in the back of cars and send us back to the station. Where we tell them our story, they tell us what the crazy guy thought we were waving real guns around at people, and they send us home with our parents.

I find out earlier that during the whole, walk backwards deal, they had their guns drawn. They thought we were hardcore criminals.
