I'm recording it on Audacity and there are two versions playing at the same time, one's like 4 or 5 seconds behind the other, it sounds kinda cool. Also, in one my voice is deep, in the other it's slightly higher.

Nothing can be as bad as the recording of my brother's friend rapping from about four years ago. It's very sad. Not only is the rap bad, but my brother picked out a beat that did not go with the song at all, so it slowed down the rap.

When I listen to it, it actually makes me feel embarrassed for him.

Yeah this makes me feel embarassed for me.

Keep trying different things and recording it until you get a satisfactory result, or do the common thing and jack someone else's voice. Common choices are DMX and Lil Wayne.
