it's like turning 7 and realizing that the first 7 years of your life were something you shouldn't have taken for granted because now you have a baby brother/sister and you now get less stuff, you don't get to do the activities you're used to getting to do, and you're about to spend the next 13 years of your life getting blamed for everything bad that your little brother/sister does because you're the oldest and you should be looking out for them

are you trying to tell me street fighter isn't a hardcore game? capcom makes hardcore games. megaman, megaman x, street fighter and all it's offshoots, marvel vs capcom, king of fighters. all those are hardcore games. the reason they made so many versions of SFII (turbo, super, etc) is because it's played mostly by hardcore gamers who pick it apart and actually care about all those mods because they make the most of them.

uhh i played street fighter way before i started doing dope, it's completely unrelated. a lot of fighting games take a lot of skill, they're not all brainless. i don't get in fights in real life, nor do i want to. i play hardcore games of other genres too, i look for games that are challenging and well made because that's what I think is fun. I don't pretend I'm not a drug addict either. That's really stupid logic to think that playing a game makes you not a drug addict. I don't think I've ever met anyone that thinks that.
