Besides which, he was so obviously a student, if it really was about using the library resources, anyone with a bit of common sense would be able to see that. You don't need an ID to be able to show you're a student, the guards were just being pedantic violent arseholes. It was completely out of order.

I got my cowbow boots today, Arriat, nice make but they're not the typical cowboy boots, rounded toes, diffrent i like. they are also purple/lightblue/black....best thing is i can RIDE in them, and wear em around town.. oohh man i cant wait for christmas, so i can acutally wear them

I'm in the same position Jess. Ive been waiting for a package for 3 weeks and I got it in the mail tuesday and my Mom won't let me open it until tonight

i cant decided if i want to wear my boots to the barn though. they're reeallly nice and if i wear em to the barn they'll get ruined faster.

At Barnet if you cannot produce your ID on request you, in the first instance get made to go get a day-pass, but I assume if you're not a student you would get escorted off the site when the computer system wouldn't give you a pass.

At JFS if you didn't have an ID for any reason you wouldn't get let in, if it was in your locker it was tough cookies, and if you managed to get in to school without it and then got caught without it you'd be escorted physically off site. I know this because it happened to me, so don't hypothesise.

Jess, don't EVER wear your cowboy boots on mud, that's pretty much the only rule. They're fine for most things, but if rain or mud is involved you're fuc[size=2]k[/size]ed.

I got some new old DMs in the post the other day from my Scottish friend.

They're a size 8 and I'm not really into those things though (and I've worn my new DMs every day I've had them for 3 weeks so don't really want to wear these ones anyway).

I might paint something on them, I dunno. They take like 45 minutes to get on though and my toe is right at the end.

compare with my comfy-as-slippers 10 hole, steel toe new DMs, I dunno why she bothered to send them to me..

barns = mud.
it also dosnt help that the paddock where the horses i ride is kept theres a drainage problem, so all the rain water pretty much runs to the middle and its one major gapeing hole of mud.

don't wear them then.

I love my boots. They're going to last me forever.

Combat boots are really uncomfy, and look crap.

DMs are comfier than anything I've ever worn before, look awesome, and with a bit of a polish I can look like a functioning member of society.

I wear shoes.

Same. I look like a functioning member of society without looking scary/bad and it takes me literally one minute to put them on!
