coheneran 11-14-2006 08:58 PM

Who's Lil Whyte? It's not one of Eminem's nicknames is it? 'Cos that would be awesome.

Flagjacket 11-14-2006 09:01 PM

Lil Wyte is another Wyte rapper.

Excursions 11-14-2006 09:39 PM
Del is famous? WTF.
Excursions 11-14-2006 09:46 PM

I could name about 2 people who have ever heard of him before.

AIRIC 11-14-2006 09:50 PM

Maybe in New Zealand.

Is Lil Wyte "WELL I BEEN TRIPPIN FOR 12 HOURS ON 3 HITS OF LIQUID MICRODOT. I'M ON AAACID AAACID AACID."

Flagjacket 11-14-2006 10:33 PM
The first Gorillaz single? And since when does MTV exposure equal fame? What about bands like the Flaming Lips and Wilco who sell thousands of records, rule college airwaves, and never get a bit of MTV play?

Seriously, saying Del isn't famous is like saying Bad Religion or Rancid aren't famous.
Dude the singer from the FLaming Lips gives out one award at every MTV Awrds show.

Ghostfire3 11-14-2006 10:47 PM
Dude the singer from the FLaming Lips gives out one award at every MTV Awrds show.
Well, that's about the most solid rebuttal I've heard. I take back everything I said.
Yes, I think that's "My Smokin' Song" by him.
SantaDuJuan 11-15-2006 06:05 PM

Sup nigz.
If I made a thread about Punk culture would you guys post in it?

AIRIC 11-15-2006 06:18 PM

No.

Sorry <3 you but no.

SantaDuJuan 11-15-2006 06:22 PM

Oh, I figured so.
<33

AIRIC 11-15-2006 06:26 PM

Didn't you make one of these like 3 months ago?

SantaDuJuan 11-15-2006 06:50 PM

Oh yeah, but um.
This one would be totally different.

IgniteYourAvail 11-15-2006 06:51 PM

A punk culture thread would be terrible because certain people (not naming names) would ruin it and get too serious and talk about protesting and talking about how they love Coheneran.

Oops.

Jessizzle 11-15-2006 07:02 PM

LOL gud one billy.

Hey man don't make fun of Jon if you don't like Jon then obviously you have no taste in people and your opinion on people doesn't matter at all.

coheneran 11-15-2006 07:22 PM

You guys are assholes, stop being mean to Jonni just because he has a crush on me. It's not his fault I'm so amazing, just ask Jas.

IgniteYourAvail 11-15-2006 07:27 PM

Especially the end. Well, actually, it's only funny when he looks into the camera, but the end is kinda clever.

alexdole 11-15-2006 07:36 PM

i dunno if this is really the right palce to post this, but i couldnt see a more appropriate thread to introduce myself in, if there is point me in the right direction and ill go post there.

obviously im new here and decided it would be best of me to introduce myself rather than just randomly show up and start espousing my various opinions.
my name is alex, and i live in melbourne australia. i used to frequent mx for its tabs until it was closed down, and used to use the forums as a means of finding out about new bands without ever being really compelled to join. i know from reading a few threads that the kind of punk music i listen to is often mocked but ah well, not every one is going to enjoy exactly the same thing, so to is my preferred dress, i tend to dress in the steroetyped punk manner, i appreciate that this isnt exactly the most popular thing on these forums and am probably in line for a reaonable flaming for doing so. i listen to a lot of uk punk from the early 8o's such as GBH, the varukers, discharge, chaos uk, english dogs, demob etc. as well as some oi! like the business or the 4 skins, i do like some anarcho particularly conflict and the subhumans as well as the occasional band discovered through these forums such as against me and various other folk punk type bands as well as a lot of stuff from left over crack and chocking victim, with mediocre generica being one of my most coveted vinyls. australia being such a distance from europe and america we rarely get international bands touring, which while it can be frustrating, has given rise to a reasonably strong australian punk scene, however most of these bands tend to reflect the bands i mentioned earlier and as such may not appeal to many, yet if anyone is interested in a hearing some australian punk id be more than happy to send you a few songs or what ever.
thats about all i can think of that is particularly relevant.

Flagjacket 11-15-2006 07:42 PM

fine.

AIRIC 11-15-2006 07:42 PM

You seem cool man welcome I love Discharge and the Varukers.

IgniteYourAvail 11-15-2006 07:43 PM

No, that was a nice introduction.

(@ Kevin)
