yeah thats what i was looking at. in the next month they have 2 different sludge shows going on. and i guarantee theres a bunch of local bands playing in bars every weekend.

but i've lived here all my life and im pretty sure that other than the indie bands that play downtown the only scene here at all is three ska bands , and it's generally about five or six years between any time a well-known band will come to Louisiana
