Personal favourite track after first play.

Im noticing while synching these up, JoZ uses a weird percussion effect at points. i never noticied it until putting it up against a guitar track, but its like a chime (?) And the background noise I had also forgot about, il ltry and clean it up a bit. I remember him saying he might re do it.


Just on the plus side, some sections of this are sounding really cool, and more importantly, unique for the song. :thumb:

Either way, you're a better choice. You're a great drummer, and I'm limited to my play time because infinite people live in my house and are all lame about me playing.

Yeah i cut after the second chorus, i will probably just record it in 3 sections or something, cause i'm noway gonna eb able to keep it going...and i need to use my trst slide (pen) for the solo...I'm trying to make it interesting, but the end part sounds awful cause i can't get the pen to go across more than one string at a time...

Adobe Audition, and for parts that I need, Audacity. Not needed so far though

Man I'm gone for a few days and like 20 pages are here, so hard to catch up in this thread.

The You Send It file of joz's bass playing would take me 8 or more hours to download and i can't be on the internet that much at one time (im limited use customer). Do you know if joz did it by "feel" or by playing to the actual track? if it was to the actual track ill send a file of me playing EXACTLY to the track. if it was by feel could you just send the Stinkfist file by it's self thanks for the help.

Anyways, I recored Part of Me about 3 hours ago. I double tracked it and everything! I didn't like the way it turned out, so I scrapped it and learned Forest by System of a Down. Then I ate dinner.(Ribs and fettuccini, if you care to know) After that I gave an attempt at Sober. I planned on doing it like this: Recording the overdriven parts in one track, then going back with my acoustic to play the flange parts. I planned to add an effect to my acoustic track. I got it all down, but I tried added a wahwahthatdoesn'treallysoundlikewah effect and it turned out like crap, so I scrapped it. :( Now my parents are watching TV so I can't record anything. Gay.

I still need help on how to do the part after the 16 measure guitar rest. How do you do the squeally deal? It's probably impossible to tab, so, just tell me whereto put my fingers and I'll figure it out.

The last verse make me picture god, because if you have ever read the bible it describes, that no one is perfect, but Christ. ranting and pointing his finger at everything but his heart.

Yep, that about covers it. Anyone heard of Bill Hicks? You guys should really check him out, he's the best comedian I've ever heard. Hits on a lot of really great points. Check out his relentless cd or rant in E minor and then re-listen to Eulogy, it makes a lot more sense, and you surely don't have to stretch as far. Just trying to shed some light. Take Care!
