Nevertheless good though, right?
yea its a good song its just not megadeth (to me)

RustedPieces 03-25-2006 02:02 PM

The most "unmegadeth" songs IMO are on Risk. Skin O' My Teeth is a great Megadeth song I think.

If I wasn't over £100 in debt, I would be myself.

AB/CD 03-25-2006 03:05 PM

to whoever asked "is MD.45 any good?" the answer is yes

Aw3someman 03-25-2006 06:12 PM

I was watching Megadeth's "Die Dead Enough" on MTV and i can't believe they censored "high" in I can't kick high enough. Wtf. Then they censored Death. Then it was a rap song about ****ing hookers all day. And they didn't censor like half the ****.

Rattlehead 03-26-2006 06:35 AM

how stupid. ive seen that video, and i dont like the fact that Dave, allthough a metal god, is the only subject of the vid. the other band members should be involved.

Jev 03-26-2006 06:57 AM

Dave basically is the only member of the band. His actions are dumb in that video though. Like the gun hands thing.

Rattlehead 03-26-2006 07:02 AM

Dave is the only consistant member, but without the others there is no music. the system has failed is a great album, and, obviously, it is nothing without the music, of which Dave is NOT the soul creator.

Aw3someman 03-26-2006 08:31 AM

Hmm... wasn't TSHF supposed to be Dave's solo project? I was thinking how much it would Rock if Dave HAS actually gotten over his differences w/ Metallica. Man if they were on Gigantour...

Rattlehead 03-26-2006 09:02 AM

well its titled megadeth, so i wouldn't have thought it was solo

Aw3someman 03-26-2006 09:08 AM

the whole thing is that Dave wanted to ditch the record company but he owed them 1 more cd. He changed his solo record to a band record. He was through w/ Megadeth and MD.45 and wanted to pursue a solo career. But he enjoyed Playing as Megadeth so much that he reformed megadeth w/ the drovers and Macdonough(now it's J-Lo) and in Arsenal it shows u the part when he says that Megadeth will continue.

Rattlehead 03-26-2006 09:21 AM

just tell me they're stil together???????  ...i heard a new album's coming out and Dave is with them. please tell me this is the truth?

lol

Drone 03-26-2006 09:45 AM

Yeah, that is true. It should be out later this year or early next year.

Rattlehead 03-26-2006 10:25 AM

good-good.:thumb:

Rattlehead 03-27-2006 02:18 AM

So who has Youthanasia? i love that album. Victory, the last song, talks about all the past songs, which is cool. its fun listening out for the track names.

Chu 03-27-2006 02:39 AM

I don't know how Dave does the start to Victory (Singing, and then playing guitar), it's hard enough for me to do it just singing (I can take care of the guitar though  ), then again, I'm not really a singer.. But just cause Dave sings, I wanna sing :p

Rattlehead 03-27-2006 03:06 AM

he's a metal god that how.:thumb:

Jev 03-27-2006 09:27 AM

Soloing and singing = WTFstaine.
I dunno how he does it. The only other person I can think of right now (there's probably tonnes more) who does really difficult guitar parts and singing at the same time is Petrucci (even though he's only backup).

Rattlehead 03-27-2006 09:31 AM

is that jon from dream theatre? but yea people knock dave's vocals all the time but i really like it. besides, he hits the notes. they wouldn't knock his vocals if they knew the solos he was doing at the same time!

Jev 03-27-2006 09:49 AM

Yeah, John Petrucci's from Dream Theater.

Anyone see that bit in Dread and the Fugitive Mind where Dave dribbles

Rattlehead 03-27-2006 10:28 AM

haha seriously? i have to see that.
got a link?

Jev 03-27-2006 10:29 AM

Nah, I doubt it's online. It's on the Rude Awakening DVD.

Rattlehead 03-27-2006 10:30 AM

darn. il try on google vids, though, as 99 ways to die is on there

Lord Abortion 03-27-2006 11:01 AM

Yeah, I find it difficult to see how Dave does it.

I think one could say Alexi Laiho does it too.

Rattlehead 03-27-2006 11:07 AM

who's he?

Lord Abortion 03-27-2006 11:13 AM

The singer/guitarist from Children of Bodom, known primarily for his excellent riffs, decent raspy vocals, and crappy, poor end-Slipknot(I actually like Slipknot) lyrics.

Rattlehead 03-27-2006 11:15 AM

mmm. the only thing i like about children of bodom is their taste. they chose to do The Trooper by Iron Maiden. the actual cover itself is appalling. IMO.

Rattlehead 03-27-2006 11:54 AM

i LOVE the short acoustic solo towards the end of high speed dirt!!! ... that song is great.

marc man 03-27-2006 01:11 PM
