His vocals aren't too good on that CD.
Which one?
Spirals
Spirals.

O. Well I've only heard a couple songs and I didn't think he sounded too bad. But either way, he's still much better with KSE.
He just sounds amazing because of the production on The End Of Heartache, he sounds a lot closer to how he did in Blood Has Been Shed live, he's an alright vocalist, decent screaming, decent singing, great technique, but just kind of boring.
Yah I guess. I guess I just like him because I love KSE.
Because you are much better, amirite, Mappy?
Mappy can't clean sing for **** though, amirite?
He's a hell of a harsh vocalist though. |
He's a lot more technical and has loads more experience, and he can actually sing clean.
I'm just saying his vocals are boring noob. When I sing clean it's like As Cities Burn, not very good. :/ |
lol
I look forward to them doing another BHBS record. I think I'll enjoy Howard's vocals more now because i'm sure they'll have money for better production and he has gotten a lot better since then. I didn't like his vocals all that much before KsE. His clean vocals were pretty weak.
Yea, they were. It took me a while to appreciate his voice in BHBS because I had heard KsE before that.
Same here. But I learned to like his vocals on BHBS.
After the last KsE album, I'll appreciate anything.... :upset:
You really thought it was that bad?
The music itself was not technically bad. However, it was the most boring, un-heavy, and uncatchy KsE to date.
I agree with the un-heavy part, but I thought it was pretty catchy. Especially songs like My Curse, Daylight Dies, and For You.
My Curse and Daylight Dies were annoyingly unmelodic. Especially My Curse....god I hate that ****ing song.
I did like This is Absolution. |
I personally enjoy just about every song on that album. My favorite is Eye Of The Storm though.

Did someone say Alsena is better than Parkway Drive?
Internet kids these days. I'm 100% behind illpressureurhinges1. Parkway Drive may be generic and mediocre, but Alsena.... Guys, listen to Thrice. |

Thrice is not metalcore though......
If you wanna go that route, 36 Crazyfists owns Thrice. |
Isn't Alsena Post-Hardcore?
Thrice is Post-Hardcore. Here. In my eyes, good Metalcore bands, as generic as they may be to you: Botch Poison the Well Norma Jean (I like their past two CDs, but they lean more towards Mathcore and they aren't worth mentioning in comparison to their first CD) August Burns Red Parkway Drive (OH MY GAWD! GENERIC POOP!) Haste the Day (OH MY GAWD! ANOTHER GENERIC BAND! KILL ME NOW!) Inhale Exhale The Showdown (first CD) All that Remains And many more. |
How about you quit being an immature douchebag and give me a valid reason to think otherwise. Hint: Without using the words "gay", "sucks", "generic", or crappy". I mean valid. |
It's the fact that you just said 36 Crazyfists is good, let alone better than Thrice.
And Thrice is metalcore you morons, post-hardcore = bands like Hüsker Dü. |
Thrice is somewhere in between. Now that they think they're Radiohead/The Deftones, I'm even more confused.
Thrice is ****ing lame anymore.
