there r different sleep patterns most ppl sleep in a monophasic pattern. maybe 8h sleep a night. then awake the rest of the day. a biphasic pattern means sleeping twice a day, thus making ur day two phases. maybe 6h core sleep, and then at another time of the day a 20min nap. or maybe 4.5 core & 1.5 nap, but that's too long a nap IMO. if it's 1.5 or more it might as well be a proper and longer core sleep, and if ur core is less than 3h it might as well be made in2 a 20min nap... a polyphasic pattern means sleeping several times & making each day several phases. the most well known & extreme results in 6 naps that r 20 mins long. this means 2h of sleep each day. this is my ideal sleep pattern, but I can't employ it due to being required to be awake between 8 & 16 due 2 school. |

something that helps me is spending at least a week shifting my bedtime back an hour go 3am-11am for a couple of nights then 2am-10am for another 1am-9am etc. |

I tend to go to sleep at 4-5 am and wake up at 12-13 pm.
