Take student loans. They usually don't make you pay it back til you get a job, or about a year after you're done with college. And if you go back after that, they halt the payments.

Oh dang, it's November. Yeah, I was pretty stressed this time last year too. I really don't know what to say, you just have to research, send out applications to schools and organizations, and hope for the best. Community college would also be good if you are really having trouble paying for a Uni right now.

You cant be "over qualified" for community college. I know plenty of people that took honors cousres and had a 3.5 or better GPA that went to cc for 2 years. You get all of the sh[COLOR="Red"]i[/COLOR]tty courses out of the way, and then you can transfer to a larger university to persue your major.

I heard Will turns down his....Will-ness for Stranger Than Fiction and isn't loud and annoying. So that, plus the fact that I have a crush on Maggie Gyllenhaal will make me probably see this movie.

There's no such thing as that. People with 4.0s in HS go to my college because UC Berkeley wouldn't accept them right away. Community college is the dumb man's university. I think it's actually smarter to go to community college, then a university.

Isn't it easier to go to a community college first for two years and then transfer to a university?

That may be true but I really want the college experience of tons of new people and really smart professors. I also want to get the hell out of my house.

It's cheaper, that's for damn sure. Easier depends on how you look at it. The classes and scheduling can be easier. The fact you don't need to live on campus could be easier too. Actually transfering is kind of confusing, but most colleges have lots of help.

There is lots of people and smart professors at community colleges. Most community college profs also do part-time work at UCs and CSUs.

You could always get an apartment if you really want out of the house.

Going to a CC is not a bad option. It'll save you a boatload of money. And even if you **** up in highschool, a real college will look at that, to see if you redeemed yourself. If you do good in a CC you'll have a better shot at college then if you applied there freshman year.

Sorry, I really like puns and that one was really good, I felt it would be wrong not to correct a minor detail.

I got some sweet thai stuff today (dealer didn't have any skank) but the thai stuff was an 8th of £15 so five quid cheaper than an 8th of skank, and I probably wouldn't notice the difference seeing as I'm such a lightweight. Then I went to hang out with my friends at their new-ish squat and had some cool conversations. Then the real good stuff happened: Another friend rang up asking if I wanna earn fifteen quid and two free drinks flyering for the Metro Club (post-punk etc, nothing special) for three hours on Oxford Street, 10pm to 1am. I took it, and then hung out on Oxford Street handing out flyers to abusive drunks and angry lesbians (plus loads of yuppies) and got time to work on some rapping. Then I had a conversation with a busker called Paul Sebastian ([url]www.myspace.com/paulsebastianmusic[/url]) who was pretty damn amazing. When the shift finished me and my friend went down the club and had a couple of whiskey and cokes each to warm up, and went outside to burn a few and eat a free pizza and any free food we could find. Gave a fiver to Paul, he gave me a CD, and it's been frying my soul all night. Amazing stuff.
