Yo folks, just got back fromt he Talent show. For those who didn't know, I was in a drum off against who WAS the best drummer in school (well known as the best drummer) haha. so ya, we were up and the girl who was announcing it was like "well I don't want to give away this next act, it's very immpressive and unique, but can I just ask one thing? can I get a drumroll?" so (I'm behind the curtain) and everone starts attempting a drumroll in the audience then I start one, and as I am building it up (louder and clearer strokes) the curtain begins to open, and it sounded great because I started my snare patteren a tad bit after the curtain (had to wait for the applause to stop haha) and then I finished my first part, He went, (pretty good, hard to beat, but beatable) so I play the snare again, then work into my toms and work on cymbal beats (going for showman ship lol) and then I was done, then he went, and I beat him again with an all out solo, then we both ended off with Walk this way and then Loudly we both Play
R-L-R-L (Crash) and then it was done lol, and then she asked the audience (Who do you tihnk was better folks, John (pretty big applause, didn't think was gonna win lol) "or JEFF!" (biggest appause I ahve ever gotten haha and I won lol) so ya, in the end when it was down to voting for the best act, we won!, and apparent;y that makes me the most talented person in school haha, jk there was ppl who were way better at what they did than me, but theres was just not as exciting I guess.

But ya, the intro was the best, just as I dreamed it would be, Me palying snare, then the curtain opens, revealing me to the audience haha, and I just looked great haha/

Me too! There are so many things I wanna/need to get there I'm more than likely gonna run out of money before I get everything I want, so I'm gonna have to get my priorities right...

That sucks bout the drums, but ya did get 45 bucks. Our talent shows don't have prizes coz they want them to be 'friendly' but everyone gets really competative bout them anyway.
