<3 Funeral Diner. I wrote an article about them for one of my "Expanding Your Tastes" threads a little while back.
I haven't heard any Yaphet Kotto, but I'd like to. |
NP: TSL - Say It Like You Mean It
Awesome pop-punk band. |
We had a band/orchestra/chorus concert during school today. I definitely should have skipped it.
So did we. I think every kid in the world skipped school today, by the looks of the last few pages on here. |
I didn't. :upset:
But I had a 2 hour delay. So that was cool. And I'm addicted to Tetris too. |

Yeah, i remember that. |
Tetris rules. I spent like 5 bucks on arcade games tonight.

My grandma has it up her house on the original NES, its awesome. B-RAN: how would you describe funeral diner? |
I wish I had a Street Fighter or Time Crisis machine. That would own.
|
I played Time Crisis tonight.
B-RAN: how would you describe funeral diner?
Hmm, here's the description from my article:
For those of you who have been complaining that my recommendations are too close to pop-punk (Jon), this should be more like what you're looking for. Funeral Diner is an awesome band that in no way resembles pop-punk. They're songs tend to be very fast paced, and chaotic. If you are not used to listening to screamo, Funeral Diner will be a very new experience for you. Their screams are very intense, and fit well with the spastic nature of the music. The lyrics (although very difficult to make out) are quite powerful, and add another layer of depth to an already amazing band.
I'm not great at descibing bands, but that should give you a rough idea. |
Street fighter is ghey.
Time crisis owns. |
You people and your video games.. I hate kids these days, they're all punk and think that they're fightning the system..stupid video games..You know! When I was a kid we didn't need punk to fight the system! We had rock in our hearts! and a guitar in our hands! I LISTENED TO ZEPPELIN BEFORE IT WAS COOL!!
/Uh huh |
Hmm, here's the description from my article:
I'm not great at descibing bands, but that should give you a rough idea.
Good enough. Even thouh ive never heard any real screamo, i get a sense ofwhat it is, and i have heard some pretty chaotic music, so ill see how this compares. |
Cob: Psh. Street Fighter is sweet. My friend and I almost beat Time Crisis on a dollar each. We were towards the end of the 4th level I think.
Stew: Ha. So my dad is letting me hang up a bunch of old record covers on my wall. I have The Beatles - Let It Be, Thin Lizzy - Bad Reputation, and Clapton - Backless, so far. He's looking for some more now. |

Heh, I thought you were somewhat familiar with screamo. It isn't extremely chaotic or anything, but I was comparing it to pop-punk since I was trying to get pop-punkers into them. I think you'll enjoy them though. |

Spence: every time i used to go up my cousins, we'd play all the way through this one power rangers game. It was awesome. Even after we grew out of the power rangers (which i still didnt, shhh), we'd still do it. EDIT: im off for the night. Goodnight, fellow people-that-post-in-this-thread. |
I think I have a Power Rangers rom on my computer. I used to play that game all the time too. :p
Night. |
I used to have a couple Power Rangers games for my SNES.
I'm going to go play some guitar, be back in a bit. Night Cob. |
