I still really like Propagandhi. Mostly early Propagandhi but the last two albums are definintely quality.

Propagandhi's a band that hasn't disappointed me once yet. I think those guys will pull through into Heaven.

AND they're from Canada. Who woulda thought?

really the only thing I didnt like was Quality is job number one. aside from some stuff that just seemed like demos and live songs it was nothing special.

I haven't heard Quantity is Job #1, but PCL I find really boring.

QIJN1 is okay, but there is too much filler. It has some really awesome songs (Oka Everywhere and White,Proud, Stupid being the two standouts for me) but alot of it was joke songs or songs that were okay, but you could tell why they werent on an album.

i dont listen to quantity that much but lately ive been digging potemkin city limits. that one song when he bashes fat mike is fantastic!

Have you read the booklet for PCL? It's put together really well.

How can you have filler songs on a CD that is based on a collection of rare, live, or demo songs?

Yeah I'm pretty sure [I]Quality Is Job Number 1[/I] and [I]I'd Rather Be Flag Burning[/I] are not new releases.

Less Talk More Rock iks the only Propagandhi I've heard and it was okay.

Propagandhi are average, at best.

Went to see Gogol yesterday, they did an "acoustic set". What that means in major-record-band terminology is that they did a set without using a £5000 PA, but it wasn't at all acoustic in the normal sense of the word. It was kinda nice, I recorded it, they played a song from their new album, My Strange Uncle's Umbrella. I invited Eugene to the Class War bonfire that happened last night, I'm not sure if he turned up. The bonfire was far better fun than watching Gogol and Soundclash anyway, and we had an ace soundsystem with wicked tunes. Somebody pulled out an amazing techno compilation, and we burned effigies of Jesus, Muhammed and Moses, along with the usual politicians. Also someone burned an American flag, which burned surprisingly quickly. Must be all that oil. So yes, a fun day all in all.

Did anyone burn effigies of Jack Straw, or Union Jacks?

I think unless the effigy is clearly marked, it can be whatever you want it to be:p.
