wait, SERE is spec ops? didn't think it was. Pararescue doesn't involve any medical degree I don't believe, at least it didn't say on airforce.com. their requirements for that are pretty easy.

eh its kinda spec ops its kinda not. you dont actually run any 'operations' or anything, but you have to pretty much go through as much training and whatnot. SERE kinda occupies a spot in between normal air force jobs and spec ops.

if youre looking for excitement and bein out in the thick of things, like me, go with pararescue bro. if youre tryin to kinda stay out of the field of danger go with SERE. its just as respectable but a more behind the scenes role.
