I really have no idea what makes a song folk. Which Against me! songs would you consider folk?
Pints Of Guiness Make You Strong.

Angry Balled Fists! 11-18-2005 08:25 AM

Yeah, i was gonna say that song.

It's one of my faves.

nitzguy 11-18-2005 09:08 AM

i just don't like all the distortion on almost every song. i liked AM! because it was diffrent, with all the distortion they have, its kinda boring

TakeWarning 11-18-2005 09:44 AM
Yeah, i was gonna say that song.

One of mine too. Great album opener. Jamaican Me Crazy/ Scream It Until You're Coughing up Blood is one too, I used to listen to that about 9 times in a row.

Good times.

thepo 11-18-2005 02:52 PM
Burn.

"Well, I say that settles all arguments of difference."

I get to see them tonight and tomorrow. This will be numbers four and five.
Rice and Bread. My favorite line is right after: "Surving by questioning. Well can you imagine if we all started demanding?"

TheBeatlesarecoming 11-18-2005 10:08 PM

All i know is the Against Me! concert i went to was the best thing that ever happend to me

Buzzbomb 11-18-2005 10:13 PM

I've listened to Reinventing Axl Rose everynight for the past week. I love that album, should i pick up As the Enternal Cowboy? It seems more similar to RAR then SFAFC

DaveToopes 11-18-2005 10:14 PM

Definitely pick up ATEC, I'd say I like it almost as much as RAR.

Anarcho Poser 11-18-2005 10:22 PM

Defiantly get Cowboy.

good rats 11-18-2005 10:30 PM

Beginning in an ending is great. Even though it sounds like it was recorded in a bathroom.

I like All or Nothing alot, too.

Yea, its one of my favourites. I've got the bad quality version off the Self Titled, and a better quality version. I have no idea where the better quality one is from.

I've only really just got into All or nothing, I liked it before, but now its a stand out track.

rawdog 12-01-2005 06:01 AM

Has anyone else noticed that tonight we're gonna give it 35% isn't as good as a recording as the rest of the stuff on disco?? Or is it just me?

lynch_me 12-01-2005 06:36 AM

It's just you.

TakeWarning 12-01-2005 08:42 AM

Rawdog, do you know anything about the rumours of their Australian tour?

You probably downloaded a vinyl track that was ripped. I remember I did that.

Anyways, if I don't see Against Me! again soon, I don't know, I'll kill someone or something.

Liebensaft 12-01-2005 08:55 PM

Ahhhhhhh! They're in town tonight, but I couldn't goooooo!!!!!!!!:upset:

obese_breasts 12-01-2005 09:04 PM

That would be the worst feeling i could imagine.

DaveToopes 12-01-2005 10:02 PM

Yeah, that would suck. Sucks man, hopefully they'll come back around here, and to Philly (I think you live in Philly) so we can both make up for missing them.

rawdog 12-02-2005 01:47 AM
Rawdog, do you know anything about the rumours of their Australian tour?
I hope so. And it better be on a Friday or Saturday night. That's why I didn't go.

Angry Balled Fists! 12-03-2005 03:58 AM

I have Crime, RAR, ATAC and SFAFC.

Self-titled demo, Vivada Vis, Self-titled EP, The Disco Before The Breakdown, Acoustic EP.

Henrik 12-03-2005 06:15 AM

The self-titled demo is out of print to my knowledge.

If you really want every singel thing, you need:The acoustic ep (also known as s/t ep) the cd version has 2 more songs than the 7'inch, The disco before breakdown cd/7'inch, cavalier eternal 7'inch, sink Florida sink 7'inch and finally the dvd "we're never going home".
If you're really fanatic you may want the don't loose touch 12'inch

Angry Balled Fists! 12-03-2005 07:20 AM

Dammit, i need some more stuff then.

I downloaded a bunch of Live videos of them, they are awesome.

TakeWarning 12-03-2005 07:34 AM

Yeah, I'm downloading the videos off that site that Chris showed us now.

EDIT: I'm listening to the electric version of Sink Florida Sink for the first time now. I don't particularly like it.

My schoolfriends and I today were saying how we were all going to cream ourselves at the show when they come in February.

Anyone care to tell me what they play as a general setlist?
