Well, that's the only one I know of. Maybe it was in the song Revolution 9?

Day tripper.

It says, "She's a big teaser."

The original version says "She's a prick teaser."

Walrus Gumboot 12-21-2004 08:14 PM

mm nope
here's a psuedo-hint: It isn't really confirmed as a swear, its sort of whatever you think it is, but to some it sounds like "f*cking hell, got the wrong chord"

Woodstock 12-21-2004 08:26 PM

Walrus Gumboot 12-21-2004 08:32 PM

punk_related 12-21-2004 09:02 PM

Has anyone heard the cover a perfect circle did on John Lennon's Imagine
its pretty deep. Some wanna-be musicians at my school say a perfect circle's version is better than John's, come on, NOTHING beats the original.

True, nothing beats the original.

Imagine>all

dude, i definently hear something, but i just can't make out what it is

Seafroggys 12-22-2004 12:06 AM

Imagine>all rock, classical (except this one song maybe), jazz, pop, blues, folk, everything.

I listened to Hey Jude, and I always have heard John say "oh" at that part. Now I know why.

gmoneyguy 12-22-2004 12:08 AM

im gonna go get my CD now.

Working Class Hero & Imagine = VERY close tie.

Woodstock 12-22-2004 10:07 AM

Yeah, Working Class Hero is great, but Imagine gives shivers down your spine when you hear those first chords.

Seafroggys 12-22-2004 12:26 PM

C for three counts, C7 for one, F for three, C7 for one....

the best opening piano chords of all time.

I can play and sing Imagine too (the only song I can sing and stay in tune). I should post recordings.

Walrus Gumboot 12-22-2004 02:54 PM

mmI love Working Class Hero, I quote it far too often
ex:
There's room at the top, they're telling you still
But first you must learn how to smile as you kill

Little_wing 12-22-2004 03:33 PM
yeah its at 2:58, give it a listen and tell me what you think it is
Yeah I found that out when i was 7, i would actual listen to that song and wait for that part and the ending.

DeusExMachina 12-22-2004 03:59 PM

Call me crazy, but I say Watching The Wheels is at least as good as Imagine.

punk_related 12-22-2004 06:20 PM
We have the CD for that, and I saw the video on TV. Great stuff.

And having like 15 guys playing at once. Three drummers, assloads of rhythm players, several bass and leads....oh baby.
oh yeah, i saw that, it was awesome, he really likes indian style music

DeusExMachina 12-22-2004 08:19 PM

George is so awesome. I love the live recording of Something, and While My Guitar Gently Weeps.

Glitterati 12-22-2004 08:30 PM

What Beatles solo cds do you guys have?

I have George Harrison - Brainwashed

and might be getting John Lennon - Lennon Legend soon.

gmoneyguy 12-22-2004 08:31 PM

I have Lennon Legend
Off the Ground- Paul McCartney

Thatstheway 12-22-2004 08:54 PM

Best albums? Personally I would have to say the best is Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, followed by The White Album. It's hard to say which is the best, but my choice was influenced by the overall good songs in a cd, those two albums you can just hit the play button and sit back and relax to some good music. definately Srgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, and White Album.

gmoneyguy 12-22-2004 08:59 PM

Meh, I hate compilations.

I own Plastic Ono Band and Imagine. With both of those, you really don't need much else. I could live off these CDs for a lifetime (well, maybe throw Abbey Road in there).

I think Harrison's intro in Yellow Submarine is hilarious for that reason... its like "oh there goes george and his sitars..."

But santa pretty much lives in Canada.

Wow that would be amazing to get a sitar for Christmas.

Actually, (I thought you should know this) Santa lives in Texas. So does Jesus Christ.
Everyone knows that!

...Or yellowknife, whichever

Speaking of sitars, which is your favorite Beatles song with an unconventional (not drum/bass/guitar) instument? (exapmle: clarinet in when I'm 64)
