I may go to Chicago with my Dad, meet up with my uncle who lives in Chicago, and go to the show when he hits the US.. Would be amazing! I'm so glad my dad digs Floyd.

I do have a big urge to buy tickets, but He's in America.

Yep. They where fantastic at Live 8, to say that it was pretty crap overall. They were Probably the best act there.

I think they were the main reason why so many people were there. London definitely had the largest crowd out of the three concerts.

That video was awesome, Gilmour playing is better than ever (and he's got Paul Wickens on keys for him.) Man, I want to see him so bad!

What's Gilmour's solo stuff like as opposed to Floyd? I might have to check it out?

I asked that as well, then I downloaded some of it. It is.. kinda like post-Waters era, but not quite.. It's unique. If you like post-Waters stuff, check it out.

I was lucky enough to find all (but 2 or so live albums) by Floyd off of Bitcomet.

At least I think it's all, I'll have to find a discography to check now or else it'll bug me.

Edit: Ok, so I have all except Delicate Sound of Thunder, and this European concert I have on some old Cassettes that arn't on the discography.

About Roger at Live 8, he is always like that live. I have a bootleg of them performing the Wall live and he is spazzing out on that video too. Gilmour always grooves with the music in one spot, and never moves.

Have you heard anything from his first solo album? It is nothing like post waters floyd.

Man, I finally got 'Atom Heart Mother' the other day (nearly completing my Pink Floyd discography). What an album!

"If" is a great song. I really wasn't expecting much from this album, but I think it's real good.

I thought Ummagumma would be terrible, as well. Fortunately, it isn't as bad as i thought it would be. Nothing special, but definitely not bad. Around a 3.5/5. But still, the Meddle- Animals era is superior to most other Floyd work.

Early Floyd is so different to the Gilmour Era. I got 'Relics' for Christmas. I love it.

I got saucerful of secrets, and i ordered Meddle. That should be good. When i listened to Corporal Clegg, I thought he might be related to my friend Alex Clegg.

I went to Media Play today as they're closing, or my store is atleast, no idea about the others, but it was 50% off posters, and the only thing I liked I found was a Floyd one.. Didn't even konw what it looked like! Made my purchase, took it home, and was very pleased to find it is a poster of the 5 women with the albums painted on their backs. Very cool!

He went insane, yes. I'm not sure if he was in a mental institution, but I think it's safe to assume that that's true.

He went to a mental institution to get a friend out who had been busted on drugs, but Syd was high too so he was afraid to go inside.
