I just sent them a giant link saying how much my band and I loves them and I would be so psyched if they actually responded. The site isn't made by them it's just the biography from the original site, but I think they are contacted about it and probably respond to some of the mail. I knew it wasn't them when it said they are a Black Metal band, Alexi doesn't even like Black Metal lol.

They'll be in US probably in late 2005 and 2006 for their new album tour. Last time they were here in CT was October 2004, I wasn't a Bodom fan then though, so that's too bad.

Ah yes, Bodom's myspace account...

Somehow, my friend has them as 2 of his 12 friends on that thing...i bet he just did something with it.

Hah. He kinda looks a bit girly himself IMO, compared to the rest of the band...

The man can play though...thats all that matters.

one of the reasons i thought alexi was going to be an *** hole cause of that whole john petrucci thing in guitar world not being crazy on doesent make you less of a guitarist. yeah he does look kinda girly besides the whole double chin thing :rolleyes: but i like the way him and the keyboardist do switchoffs and double leads thats gotta get confusing

Children of Bodom are the future of heavy metal, never cease to impress and amaze me both in the studio and live.

I hope they are the future of mainstream american metal. As far as Finland goes, they are the present, they are on the radio and everything there. They have started a giant movement of melodic power/speed bands though, and hopefully it sweeps America. You can really see it as bands like Imperanon pop up, who see Bodom the same way we do. Hopefully bands like this wipe out Metalcore and give us something good to listen to.
