So I got home from downtown to find about 2 inches of snow on my driveway, when I left there was none. I left at 3:30 and got home at 5:00. So I decided to start shovelling so my dad could get into the house when my mom and him got home (he's disabled) and I do about 3/4 of the driveway and they get home and I look at what I just shovelled and I couldn't see the driveway anymore. I finished up the driveway and I'm not going out to shovel until this storm is over.

I'm so annoyed, I just broke the freakin' high E string on my guitar AGAIN. This keeps happening! Last week I broke it on my acoustic, my bassist broke it on my SG, and then in band practice on Tuesday (final gig preparation) I broke it on my Les Paul. So, I get some more, and somehow manage to snap it while restringing. Thankfully, Rik (bassist) had a spare, so I used that for the gig last night. And now, trying to learn Second Solution (Living End), I've broken that one. It's getting beyond a joke.

At times I wish we didn't get snow. I hate walking in it and shovelling it. Other than that it's great.

D'Addario 10s. They are really great, and take ages to wear out, but generally I seem to break one of the higher strings before it ever gets that far. It's probably the fact that I usually wallop the hell out of my strings, and also use really hard picks. I know I could try being more gentle, but it's such a part of my style now that I can't stop it even if I want to.

OMG, today, i havnt stoped.

I got up at 7, went to college, got home at 2, went into manchester city centre at 230, got home at 7, got ready to go for a meal, went out for the meal at 730, in there till 1030, i then went to the pub for 30 miniutes, then 30 mine walk home, and now, im sat here knackerd.

I meant wear out in terms of tone and playability.


Dammit, I'm bored now. I was gonna work on learning some solos but can't really do that anymore. Ah well, I might just put a film on.

Cant say i have, this advert looked very british, it had british blocks of flats with the lyrics to his songs appearing on screen, and had a clip of every song on the album, bar the bonus ones.
